Purchasing the game from the PSN vs buying the disc

I've always went out to buy the physical disc but this year I'm thinking of simply buying it on the PSN but I have a few questions. When you buy it digitally on the PSN does it get stored in your PS3 hard drive or does it go into a cloud much like Apple has for their purchases? For example if I go to a friends house, log onto my PSN account will I be able to access the game from his PS3? or do I need to physically bring my system? What if my PS3 breaks and I get a new one? What happens to the game then? and finally, PS4, if I buy a new PS4 and PES2014 is in my PSN account (assuming its in the Sony cloud) would I be able to play it on the next gen system?

It is happening again
The game is downloaded to your system, not stored in a cloud. Your saved game files will be stored on your system the same as any other save files are. Once you have purchased PES 2014 from the store, if something happened to your PS3 you could re-download it. You would lose all your saved data of course, unless you were able to back it up to the cloud, which is only available through PS+.

The game is stored on your PS3 hard drive, but any purchases are logged under your account. You can log in on a friends PS3 to your account & download the game to their PS3 (I think it is no more than 5 PS3's).

If your PS3 breaks, you can download it again to your new system.

Not sure on the PS4 thing, & how the streaming from the cloud will work sorry.

perfect, thank you guys!! Oh one last thing, Option Files will still work if I buy it on the PSN right? Nothing to do with disc there (excuse my ignorance):blush:

Currently downloading it from the European Playstation Store, was cheaper than it will be in the shops when it is released in Australia, plus you get all the extra content such as 3rd kits, classic kits & avatars. I guess anyone in the UK will be able to get it even though they said Friday as the release date here is the 26th/3rd according to the games shops.

That's cool, I will purchase the EU Digital version tonight...
One question, if I log in with my account to any PS3 and download the game, the game will be saved on that console even when I lg out of the account?

I just looked on the UK PSN and it's not there...
When you say European, do you mean a different account to the UK?
EDIT: Never mind - just found out it needs to be a Europe mainland account

OK, so I downloaded the game.
It asks me for an online code in order to play online or to download the new data pack. It says the code is printed on the packaging... Only a download comes with no packaging! So where do I find the code?
EDIT: I found it eventually. You need to download that too from PSN

Hello, i live in Portugal and i searched for the game on the PSN but i cant seem to find it...I found the PES 2014 Demo and the online pass files but not the game.
Can you guys help me out with this please...Can you please tell me where did you found the full game?
