What is the cause of these?

I rest players for a game and then the next game they have purple down arrows, or if it's a cup game all the reserves all of a sudden have it. You can almost garuntee that if three first teamers have down arrows then at least one of the replacements will also have it.

Really annoying and makes rotation almost pointless.

Also, how much affect does it have on the player?

me too damion unfortunately I believe it is still 1.01 though I hear dido will update this once he has found a solution for some problem/effect connected to the kitserver (think it is on his blog page)

So a player on purple is basically useless?

JesusChrist. It's like every fucking game I have at least 7 players on purple. Doesn't matter if I rested them or not.

I know exactly what dido does, as I used his patch from 2009 to 2012. The point is that you favor accessories over core gameplay if sticking to the patch is more important than fixing the issue.

No, the point is that you said it was a graphics patch, and it isn't. It has game play tweaks, amongst a lot of other things.

Anyway, not sure why you felt the need to go so off topic and make assumptions, but thanks for the arrow information as it's very helpful. :D
