Im not able to do a move that the computer does sometimes.
In WE 8 (PS2)
It's when the player stop the ball and put his foot on it and pulls it back as he backs up but still facing his opponents. It's usually done near the corner before a player croses.

Can someone help me with that?

Yep. Let's just say you're walking towards the right (-->). Press R2 and up on the pad and you should do the sidestep move. This is where your player is dragging the ball upwards, but still facing the right hand side. If you pull and hold back (<--) while he's doing that, he'll drag it backwards until you let go.

oh OK. I tried it in training it took me a while before i got it but im still having trouble with it. I thought it would be easier than that. But im workin on it. still wouldnt dare try it in a match. at least not for now.

i think you mean the sudden stop right? what you do is run along, and stop holding the direction you're running and then hit R2 or R1 (i forget, havent played it in a while)
