Question about competitions

Hi. I was playing in the competition, and I won my first three matches with a goal difference of 4 total, and I didn't dare play another match because I didn't want to jeopardize my position. (Although I dropped from 5 to 14 before I got to the knock-out stage.. :p)

Anyway, my question is: could I have kept playing games..? Or would I loose my streak if I lost the next match..? Is it the last three matches that count, or can I keep playing even if I loose all the matches I play before knock-out stage..?

I could have made some money, but I didn't dare loose my chance at knock-outs.. :p

well u gain 0 points for losing .. u dont lose any points ... if u draw 0-0 u also get 0 points ... and for 1 points u have to draw but not 0-0 and for 3 pts u have to win

I think you misunderstood me, mate.. :-/ Maybe I explained it a bit complicated..? What I meant was; if I play, say, five games before the draw for knock out and I loose the first match, win the next three and then loose number five, will I then have 6 points or is it the three game winning streak in the middle that counts and I will end up with 9?

It takes your best 3 results in a row into account ...say you did the following WLDWWDLWL The system would pick up the DWW or WWD (depending on the draw score) in the middle as your best results . If you had WWWWWW It would pick the 3 wins in a row that accumulated the highest GD.

Hope this helps and sorry about the bad english its late and i have to be up in 4 hours for work :)... And yes this means you were fine to carrry on even if you lost any other games after the first 3. :)
