Hi all...

i have a questions for those who are playing as AMF/CMF/SMF in BAL.

Do you often go forward to join Attacking (OR) Do you just stay in Center MidField?

I am not sure how to play as CMF

Depends on the formation your team plays, if your a CM and your team plays with a DM then you can get forward alot more without worrying about defending as much. If theres no DM then you need to mix it up a bit more.

If your a SM then track back when the opposition SB is attacking.

I was a rmf with Atalanta. It was 4-5-1, so I was part of the atacking side mostly. It depends on the formation actually when you're a SMF.

I'm an AMF but playing as a CMF, for Boro at the moment. The play a normal 4-4-2 with no holding midfielder. I usually stay back whenever needed and only join up with the attack when we get into the final 3rd or are on a counter attack. If you stay back a bit, you're available more for your team mates, meaning more touches and more pass attempts to help your rating.

for me depends on your stamina and speed, if you can get box to box then do it, otherwise hold back until late in the game and you know you have enough strength to get forward a few times before the end of the game.

I still say it depends on the formation your team has. If it's 4-4-2 with no holding midfielder, then yes, you have to defend a bit more.
