Do you notice any significant behavioural changes when either of the tactics are selected?

They're too subtle for me to notice arg.

Thanks, am new here btw.

Good question, I use all three every game but only for 'psychological purposes' it seems cos they don't seem to do a lot!

I really enjoy tactics in PES but usually it's formations and att/def mentality that make most noticable difference.

In theory at least...(sorry, all obvious i know)

centre attack - central mids should push up more to suport strikers
counter attk - strikers/wingers stay on halfway line and wait for ball when defending
pressing - cpu teammates close down oppostion player with ball but get tired fast

Have you noticed any other strategies working? Like left side attack etc?

I'm trying to play with left and rights side attack on now. The "help menu" says that they're suppose to make my SB's overlap more.

First impression that they do cause my SB to be more attacking minded. Will have to experiment more though.

And interestingly, for centre attack, the help menu says that it'll make the players drift more towards the centre, which i assume meaning the SMF

Thanks mate I'll be trying the left/right side tactics - especially if it means more numbers in attack! I guess that means both left and right can be on at same time - i used to think they would contradict each other!

Hmm, I just tried enabling the left/right attack in training mode.

What happens when the left attack mode is enabled is that all the players shift slightly to the left. Vice versa for the right.

What's interesting is that when both are enable, the left move rightwards and the right move leftwards. Meaning it's more central like. The RB and LB are more central.

But i do however notice that they are more attacking minded and do drift to the edge during normal play.

But still, they don't storm/overlap forward when there's a clear running chance.
