Does playing players "out of position" actually influence their performance/rating?

For instance playing Gareth Barry a 83 rated DMF has a 76 rating when i play him as a CMF in a 4222 formation but he still seems to perform similar as in a DMF spot in 4231.

Also i'm playing Pycszek as a RMF instead of RB so his rating drops from 81 to 75 but he stills has the same pace and agility to my experience.

hi welcome to the forums

I might be able to help im known around here as a bit of a guru when it comes to PES anyway..I don't think you will notice much difference between putting a player from DMF to CM or RMF to RB its not like you are putting a centerback on the wing so it should be fine
