Questions for the people who have PES 2010

Just some of the questions I've seen being posted on the forums to the people who have their hands on PES 2010 already: So if any of you have any answers it'd be good to know
1: Plenty of reviews have said the goalkeepers are terrible, are they rubbish even on Superstar difficulty level?
2: Is there even a Superstar difficulty level in PES 2010? I've heard there isn't
3: Whats the story with unlockable players? Is there a PES shop or are they unlockable by winning tournaments / leagues etc?
4: Is it possible to play as your mates opposition in offline tournaments? i.e, is it possible for Player 2 to move the joypad across to play as the opposition team in say Champions League on the Player Settings screen when game is paused? (This option hasn't been available on PS3 versions of PES so far)

What? You won't be buying the game JUST because of THAT? 1 feature? If there's tons of new and better ones? C'mon, some of you guys are idiots for not be getting the game just because of ONE feature.

My opinion, no intent of offending anyone.

Yeah its not gonna stop me buying it, but once again konami leave out a simple feature they used 2 have, i swear ther retards.

It's not about cheating, thats not even entered my head, if you really were sad enough to want to cheat just set the difficulty level at the easiest, a child could win on that level. No, it's about not being able to play a multi player offline tournament with a few mates around and playing as their opposition when it's their game. Every other footie game has had this option, except PES 2008, 2009, and looks like PES 2010 doesn't have it either

its a matter of what people like i like master league and cant wait if somone else like another mode they propbaly buy it for that

^ Yeah at first i wondered about the big fuss with playing against your mates in tournaments. As i discussed this with Chiesa in other threads, I came to understand him - that this brings more fun and you get to play with teams that you wouldn't normally choose.

Agree that this is a deal breaker. But obviously most of you out there sit by yourself and play the game.

I only play against friends, two games against the CPU and it goes static

They shouldn't have taken that feature away

Can you simulate games in League Mode or Cup Mode
That would get us around the problem

In BAL certain features or tweaks were added but they were really cool Take a look at WENB to know what I am talking about. It's on pesfan but wenb has the link to it aswell

I am liking the small but really necessary improvements. It feels more complete at least.
As for 2 player tournament. I know they were cool, but you can't just not buy the game for that missing feature because there are other things which are even cooler. ML and BAL with licensed europa and champions league for example.

I've commented on the issue of the option of playing as the computer team a few times in forums over the last year or so. It seems like most people play PES at home alone or online, but my mates and I always played it as a multiplayer offline game, where we'd get together for a PES session and play a tournament together. This option is no longer available, so we can't do it, however it is available on FIFA 10, and every other footie game I've ever played, except the PS3 versions of PES, that's why I won't be buying it this year, because there is an alternative. I haven't bought FIFA since FIFA 98, and I've always been on the PES side over FIFA in terms of which is the better game, but I've finally ran out of patience with Konami. It's such a simple little thing that Konami have disabled from the game, thats what drives me crazy about it

If games could be simulated that would fix it, instead of picking every single team in the tournament/league and having to play every single match (Christ!), good idea

Alternatively, does anyone know if this joypad problem can be patched on the PC version? I've heard there's a lot more editing possibilities for the PC
