Hello all,

I am playing Be A Legend now and after a game you get your rating of that particular game. Depending on the rating you get a change to get to the final 11 and play competition games.

But my rating is always very poor: most of the times a 5.5 of 6.0 (not higher). I don't make lot of mistakes (like wrong passes) but I still won't succeed to get a higher rating.

Anyone tips or have a clue what to do to get higher rating?

I am involved all the time...running and chasing opponents, asking the ball of teammembers by pressing R2 twice etc etc. And still bad ratings so no change on the main squad.

I am a AMF (next time i will be a WF of CF;-))

Ratings in Pes have always been fuked 4 example my defenders keep a clean sheet and get a 5.5 but the opposition defenders who i just put around 4-5 past get 6 lol.

I think ur gonna have to score goals or make assists to get higher ratings.

Might sound stupid but maybe your running too much, chasing shadows. Is there a button you can press to ask your team mate for the ball? Just hold your position and ask for the ball when you in space, keep it simple!

do you have to play the season for your team and wait for the transfer window or is it game by game.

i hope its season by season and not too easy to move to the best clubs.

hmm.. I've been playing as WF and got involved in everyway I can and making some assists, 0 goal though. and I got 7.5 score, also elected as Man of the match and Most Impressing Player.. Now a starting 11 in Manchester City.. haha..

anyway, i dont know about AMF, haven't tried it yet.. maybe as AMF you have to make assists as much as u can and help in terms of attacking. Also I rarely go very deep to my own defense.

Too bad we cannot play as Defender or GK.. it will be fun..

please tell me that the players dont always bother to pass to you when you request the ball (this always annoys me on FIFA, I'm impatient and press the button and my teammates end up attempting completely unrealistic passes simply because i have asked for the ball when, in real life, they would simply ignore me if i wasnt in a good position)

No, Defender are not available. We can only play for MF / FW with those variables as well (CMF,AMF,SS,CF,RWF,LWF,etc)

No, they don't do that. They will ignore you if you ask for "impossible" pass.

lol.. not so easy mate.
I read the in-game manual, it says, if you wanted to join a certain club, make sure you join the same league (as an apprentice), unless you are very good (statistically and in-game performance). Up until now, I only get offers from Tottenham, doubles my salary, which I rejected because I'm still playing for City.. :D

Anyway, I dont see any personal life in the BAL mode. I thought it's like real simulation :p

No, thats not so easy as it sounds. You start with 1 scouting game were you should give a nice performance to get a contract. But you always start with a smaller team. I have earned a contract at Willem II (ignored contract of Vitesse and De Graafschap). In the transfer window in the middle of the season NAC Breda wants me so I moved to them because I didn't get a change in the starting 11 (I only played training matches).
Your stats are changed very slowly, so it is impossible to have great stats after one season. But you start at the age of 17 so your time will come later on...i hope..

yes, there is such button: R2
Your teammates only ignore you when you ask for the ball but it is impossible to give it to you.

I start a new Be A Legend as a WF, because AMF is to much difficult to play.

are substitutions realistic (mainly, when you start on the bench and you are a striker, are you likely to be brought on earlier in the game of your side is losing and kept back in reserve longer if the game is going well.)

How are the leagues set up? Like, can I edit it so there's the Premiership, La Liga, etc etc?

It'd be a bummer if they were random.
