Im not a sore loser or think im great at this game but i know when im being fucked over in the handicap system, 8 games in division 7 now, 3 draws and 5 loses, i can actually feel my players slow down and be clumsy, its nearly every game now. cant beat this shite. no matter who i play i am fighting for a point or getting beat but i can win on other online modes and competitions, its just my club lg that is totaly fucking me over. My team is

Manger Gaurdiola

Ramos

Silva

Vertonghen

Gotze

Khedira

Nzogbia

Ozil

Robben

Tevez

Hulk

these players become slow, clumsy and stop making runs etc, now i wouldnt mind but believe me this has become almost every game.

As i said, im not one of the great hardcore players but i know when im being fucked and its far far too often, nearly every match im having to deal with it.

More so and I dont mean to be rude, but playing with a back three isn't for everyone.

and front line pressure as defensive style makes it even harder. if u fail to pin your opponent in his half. u r screwed. If they have fast players and break away, u r screwed.

whats your team chemistry?

went the whole division without a win, last game i had 12 shots with 10 on target and it finished 1-1

i really couldnt care if i get beat fairly but i know the score when my players-AI are not doing what they're supposed to.

Hi, I have Gaurdiola too, it can be a devastating formation but you can be exposed with the wrong personnel. You need to change your wide midfielders to more like offensive full backs, they are supposed to track back and provide cover so your front 3 can attack. Gotze / Ozil / NZogbia are more like forwards than midfielders so you'll be able to defend more easily with players in there who are a bit stronger physically, I use Willian or K Asamoah , Vidal, Wing backs need speed, strength and stamina if you put a good full back there his overall rating might drop but that doesn't matter so much as he'll give you more defensive cover and let the attackers do their job up front. Or try going more defensive on one side at least if you don't want to change the players too much.

the game is actually a lot easier if you drop down to using a level one team, you'll come up against players who haven't played as much and you have more time on the ball, it's not as frustrating as coming up against super teams all the time because if you have a good squad you can slip in some star players but you need a functional lower rated side with high TS

Hi,
It's got nothing to do with tactics it is to do with his team – a part of the game is flawed. The same happens if you try to create your own Dream Team. Say you just wanted to make a team where you add players Ronaldo, Messi, Ozil, Neymar, Suarez, Di Maria, Kroos… (You get the picture) into one team so you could play sexy football with ease. Well on paper you would think that this team would be amazing right? Well, in reality adding too many good players to a team is actually rather detrimental – to highlight this to a point where it is easily recognizable just make yourself a team of world class players and the edit all their stats to 99. Then play any crap team, you should notice visible differences on the pitch but not in the way you think, or would like for the computer simply compensates and negates all that advantage, so in effect the stats mean nothing and when the computer does this, in other words dis-advantages you while advantaging itself (your players slow theirs quick etc, silly mistakes and normal things that worked simply not working, players not making runs etc etc – being severely bottlenecked) nothing can change it, formations, chemistry none of it means a thing , makes sense considering it just negated all the stats! – The computer can do what it wants because it’s ITS game not yours!

You can either, get rid of some of those good players, or accept this “new “increasingly limited game-style and remember it is exponential so with each new super-star you add to your team your freedom on the pitch is further diminished and on the flipside start removing those players and voila! Your freedom comes back – yay passes start working again, players start making runs off the ball, you’re running a little faster etc….. Try it and see 

On a last note: The only game this flaw was not evident in was PES 2008 and those prior to it. However, this issue just highlights the greater underlying problem of scripting and it is this which stops me from really liking the game, that and a few other issues but I won’t go there.

So in a nutshell, lose some of the good players and find that balance (where the difficulty is mixed and you have a fair amount of unencumbered play) and if you need to bring in another superstar then remember to make space by removing one already there. Unless you like that unfair scripted madness – then by all means keep adding more! 

Good luck!

at team with Ronaldo, Messi, Ozil, Neymar, Suarez, Di Maria would be a team with 6 forwards and lack so much balance they would get destroyed by a proper midfield anyway

I was being hypothetical (only an imaginary example) and just to correct your comment, technically they aren't 6 forwards for only Suarez and Neymar are real/natural forwards, Messi and Ronaldo started as midfielders and could easily sit comfortably in attacking midfield/SS positions, which leaves Ozil and Di Maria who are both midfielders. So combined they could easily make a very attack minded 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1, 4-3-2-1, 4-3-2-2 or....you get the picture.

Anyway, like I said before this was only a hypothetical scenario and only meant to represent the idea of a dream team (i.e. putting all the world's best players into one team).

the thing is, on one of my myclub accounts I do actually have a superstar team and they play pretty well, but not all the time, that's what interests me about the game really - the inconsistency because that at least is one thing that would correlate to the real game, no?

the best players don't always make the best team, this myclub mode is about trying different combinations to see what works.

Seriously have you ever just considered that you are not that good at the game? ... blaming the ai for losing all the time. I could understand the initial rant because I get pissed off and blame everyone but myself at times. But tbh it sounds like you just are not very good at the game lol

I'm not brilliant at the game, I'm decent at it and was playing decent, it's ibvious wen it takes your players about 3 seconds to controll the ball and when Dante out paces robben when I break thro to go 1-1 and Dante catches him. I can see all the scripted bullshit in the game, and I've been stuck in a rut of same shite. Don't play it anymore anyway, it's pish. Lol
