realistic net movements... bollocks!

Pro Evo 5 is great, theres no doubt about it but 1 thing pisses me off the most! Nets!

Now.... I'm probably being a bit too fussy here, pointing out something hardly anyone would notice but it pisses me off to the maximum!

If you play any kind of match at Anfield or Bayern Munichs old stadium which is still in the game, if you shoot and score in the bottom corner the ball seems to go through the net and the net follows it wierdly. VERY STUPID!
If you play at the vadacom staduim (the one with the shite pitch) if you score in the bottom corner the net realisticly bounces the ball back like a ANY football net in the world. Pisses me off!

It's a shit explanation so there are two attachments at the bottom (very, very, very quickly drawn) to show you what I mean.

1= anfield nets
2= vadacom park nets

Nice drawings. I've always thought the nets where quite good in PES, the smooth rippling of the net when the ball strikes it is a satisfying site!

So why is it that you had to draw these? Were you having trouble saving a replay to show us. I see nothing wrong with the nets in PES5 as they are better than the nets in any other video game I have ever played! If you want to bitch about nets, bitch about the ones in FIFA.

If you're bothered about nets they should just copy football kingdom's nets, they're pretty damned amazing.

But as long as the gameplay's good i don't care really.

Yeah I know im being picky and all that shit but I needed to get it off my chest as it was getting on me nerves. I know you lot dont care and I dont really blame you for it because its such a pointless 'bad' thing to point out about pes5 when there are plenty of other things that piss you off more like no crowd etc.

The rest of the nets are fine its just Anfields ( ) which bother me as a play there all the time

I can understand your complaint, better nets like in FK would be a very welcome addition IMO.
+ being picky is what being a gamer is all about mate, we need to be picky so companies improve their product.

The crowd problem doesn't bother me, i'm concentrating on the pitch when playing. Only time i even bother seeing the crowd is in the replays and they're there then.

I'd fix in this order:
Gameplay tweaks etc...
Better ML depth, more teams/competitions & buyable stuff
Weather
Nets
Crowd

In real life, the Anfield nets don't tend to bounce the ball back. In fact, not many Premiership grounds do. In Europe and very much so in Africa and South America the nets are tighter, and do bounce the ball back.

The game's got it right. (Not that it makes a difference anyway!)

yeah man... the net looks rather realistic when the ball hits it.. i tink improvement shld b made for the ball flight when u take free kicks.. such as more curl on it..

I didnt really mean the nets make the ball bounce back, but if you saw robbens goal against everton in fa cup replay the ball went in the corner and then it moved to the other side.... oh i cant explain it, youll never no what mean unless i post videos up but im lazy so no.

Pro Evo nets are the best I have seen in any footy game. Look at Fifa on 360, utter rubbish.......

No ones ever going to understand my complaint.... erm......what about the Middlesbrough v Chelsea match, when the 3rd goal was scored, the ball bounced back, I think it only ever happens at the riverside nets. But at other Prem club teams grounds they move across (like robbens goal in last post) and I cant explain it. If you do that at anfield in the game it does roll across it just stays there
