I time my slide tackles to perfection, and win the ball and the ref always gives them a free kick. I'm all for fair play, but this is really annoying me about the game, everything else is pretty good at the moment. Getting to the point where I no longer play online due to the poor refereeing. :angry:

I would agree with you on this one.

I like the fact the sliding tackle animation has been improve but when you clearly took the ball it's a tad annoying.

Still, makes me more determined to win.

well...at least if you're playing online it's "the same for both players".... offline master league is getting terribly frustrating !

I'm guessing a little but it probably has something to do which the player your tackling with. I've hacked some forwards down with my high rated CB and it's deemed fair even though looking at the replay it would have been kinder to punch him in the face then take the ball. On the other hand my wingers and forwards have cleanly taken the ball with a slide tackle or standing tackle and given freekicks away.

it depends on player you tackle. tackles against some good players are scripted as fouls, even you slide without touching, i gave lot of penalties for that noob game 2011, 2010 was better

its annoying becuase sometimes you make the tackle and its fine then you do the same thing again and its a foul or sometimes the AI foul you if you skill past a player and nothing happans so refs still need work.

I've noticed it's because of you getting the player before the ball. Even if the fabric of your shirt very slightly brushes against them before you touch the ball then it's a foul. Stupid I know, the foul system in this game seems to be a bit too specific which ends up in the softest fouls being given.

It has nothing to do with which player blah blah blah

the refs are just plain CRAP..the only thing they do now is give a penalty...which was as common as seeing aliens land on Old Trafford in pes 2010
