Firstly I would like to say that I think 2010 is a big step forward over 2009 but there are a number of issues which stop it being a great game.

Refs- 2009 were too harsh but now they dont exist AT ALL. I have played 200 offline games in all modes and 60 online games and not recieved 1 penalty. Not exactly realistic. Just tone down 2009 refs and i would be happy. Surely a patch could do that?????
With regards to this, some people are now using it as a tactic online. Any player that looks like he is getting away can be brought down with normally only a yellow. Therefore no advantage for being down to 10 men and def no advantage from a free kick 50 yards out. I honestly played a game (10 mins)where my opponants foul count was 25 to 2 by me. Only 1 yellow card. Game ended 0-0. Livid.

Commentry- Seriously we are next gen now there really should be no excuse. Just copy FIFA commentry.

AI-Some of the AI is madness. Its all been mentioned before. When I sign for VILLA/Spurs etc in BAL i dont expect the team to get run ragged all over the park by Hull, yet neither team have a shot unless I get one off ending in nil nil.

I really enjoy this game and if the refs were sorted by a patch I believe I would still be playing this when 2011 rolls around. The rest I can just live with. Sort the refs!!!

ok. the refereeing HAS to be sorted out.
I think pes2010 is a damn good game.
but getting scythed down in the box from the back with the keeper to beat and NO penalty?
This doesnt happen just the odd time. I can accept bad calls.
BUT consistently... Just ruins the whole experience.
We need to have more people voicing it out.

The frustration for me is the diving from my players. Giggs got send off last night after a second dive. This after he already received a yellow for a previous dive. And guess where he was diving? In the middle of the field; my goodness if you want to dive do it in the penalty box or at least in an area where you have a shot at taking a good free kick! Diving happens almost in every game which annoys the hell out off me. Just when I planned a good move or trick my player dive. Is there a way I can turn it off? Right now it's the only thing that frustrates me.....
