Register created players with teams?

Hey, this question has probably been asked many of times, but I can't seem to find the answer. How do you register a created player with a team? I've read the brochure but all it says is to go to 'register player' - 'club teams' and then find where you located him, but the edited players are no-where to be seen :( Help please?

Ive been wondering about this also. However i want to put the "real" players in the national team instead of the doubles. Is it only possibel with an optionfile editor or can we do it ingame?
