Yeah I too am stuck at the house, some1 recommened kicking them when they came close, well that doesnt work when their head explodes and out comes a freak that just cuts you up from a distance, so yeah I do not recommend kicking. If you figure it out let me know, cheers

The only difference between the two versions is the ps2 has extra Ada missions when you complete the game.

just finished that level right the way I did it was to block all the windows collect all the spare ammo and health you can and run to the top of the stairs.when they come through start blasting with you'r hand gun being at the top of the stairs you have an advantage for a while. Then when the ladders start to come back off in to the corner and select you'r shot gun aim for the heads or the knee caps they will go straight down all ways blast the ones with the creatures coming out of their heads first as they do more dammage if the room get's full switch to you'r uzi and spray it around a bit well thats how I did it and at the end I onley had a small amount of health this level was challenging.

Hey guys i'm currentl in Chapter 1 part 3, do you lot know if you go back to that room before you meet that big bloke this woman in red come out at you?

Also i want to ask, is it a good idea buying a guide book, since i do find the game a bit difficult...will this spoil the fun of the game?

A guide book is worth getting make shur it's official though as it will reveal all the secrets of the game like alternate costumes different characters wepons and so on just don't be tempted to look at the end of the guide.

My cousin finished this game just last night. Well, i really wont spoil the story, but should you finish it, there are secret unlockables unlocked. You get to play Ada in a different game that you can find in the "Extras" section. Two different games come along in the same section, yes two, and are related to Resident Evil. You also get to see Wesner at some points. And in the Extras section, included, if you finish the game, will also be the movie! Im not sure if its the whole movie as i havent checked, but it says "Movie". So i suppose its the movie, part 1 maybe.

The graphics must be awful.

No its just that a dvd has a much higher capacity than a mini gamecube disc. They actually fitted a lot more extras into the ps3 game but the graphics are slightly less detailed because the gamecube is a more powerful system

the ps2 version is every bit as good as the cube version if not a little better because I prefer the ps2 controller.

I disagree, I think the GC controller sucks balls but it was perfect for RE4. Also the graphics aren't as good on PS2, and of course the loading was quicker. Have you played the GC version?

Good point. Either way it's a great game regardless of the system. We should just be happy it's on more than one console, the more people get to play this great game.

Best game i've played this year, bar PES5.
