Retiring players returning in ML

Hi all,

I've heard from a few people that in ML there's a problem with retired players coming back as 17-year-olds.

This is my favourite aspect of ML and I wanted to check if the problems are true before starting a proper game (I haven't reached the end of my first season yet, so new youth players haven't come through yet).

Apparently all retiring players are returning with the EXACT SAME STATS as when they retire!

On old PES the players would come back with a random set of attributes, based on the previous strengths and weaknesses of the original player. In PES13 this worked perfectly I thought, with some returning players rated around 50, and just a few of the best rated at high 70s or early 80s.

If players are coming back with the same attributes then this takes much of the fun away for me in ML as I like to sign retired players and train them up.

Can anyone else shed some light on this problem?

Unfortunately that's true. For example 16 year old J.Zanetti with OVR 95. Lampard and Gerrard with ~93 OVR.

Retired players come back in mid season break, not between seasons.

Maybe Konami fixed this in last patch. I don't know yet, because I don't reach mid season again till now in my ML.

The problem is NOT fixed in the latest patch (1.04). I started a new ML and simulated to the second mid season break, when the first retired players come back. And thats the result:

All these players are 16-17 years old.

Can somebody tell this problem to Adam Bhatti at Twitter? Maybe Konami will fix this with next update.

Has this been acknowledged as virtually gamebreaking and requiring an urgent fix by Konami?

After 10+ seasons of ML it would become unplayable. This aspect of ML is my favourite bit of Pro Evo, I'd be gutted if it was lost forever!

I guess I also want to know if any fix would work with save games? Or if a new ML save would need to be started?
