Reusing PES2020 edits in PES2021

So what is everyone keeping from PES2020 to reuse in PES2021 on day one?

I spent >50 hours making Rangers youth teams in PES2020 so am taking photographs of my TV screen and making notes of stats so that I can quickly remake these players in the new game.

Akways wondered what other editors reuse from OF in the next. Especially when there’s no changes to edit mode.

There is change to edit mode as can't import 20 files to 21.

Easier to take a video and export video off PS4 than taking pictures............For me I am waiting to see how the TED Editor works this year and if if the Live Update Flag still works bringing new players in the game. That feature was a game changer for me.............I have a Winning Eleven 2020 arriving Wed. for one of my sons to put a Classic File on..............since will be Oct 22nd before game receives forst real update, gonnal finish with 20 projects until the 1st real update.

How exactly do you that do that?

me too! Really hope we can get this again this year! I never got the 19 to 20 conversion part working. Hoping it’ll work this time for me! I added ~6000 players to 2020 and would love to just convert the TED files from 20 to 21! Fingers crossed.

The Rangers youth players are the ones I don’t want to have to do from scratch. But nowadays my OF is a Nico style one. So I’m sure various OFs will released. That saves me feeling like it’s a lot of hard work on my own for a season update.

I am working on a tool to directly open TED files from 2020 and save it as 2021. Basic stuffs have already been done and ready. Waiting for the game being released for final confirmation.

(If someone already have PES 2021 and want to help to me test the things, feel free to find me on twitter @SiuMing_PES)

Update: You can preview the tool at https://wepes.github.io

I’ve opened this but don’t know how to use it. Sorry. Any instructions?
Thanks for your question.

1. You can open any TED files from PES 2020/2021 by pressing the "Open" button in the top-left hand corner.
2. The TED files should immediately be loaded. You can now save the file in any format you want or do some changes first.
- Save as PES 2021 (in-game): It means saving the TED file in PES 2021 format as masked (encrypted)
- Save as PES 2021 (unmasked): It means saving the TED file in PES 2021 format as unmasked (decrypted)
- Save as PES 2020 (in-game): It means saving the TED file in PES 2020 format as masked (encrypted)
- Save as PES 2020 (unmasked): It means saving the TED file in PES 2020 format as unmasked (decrypted)

You can also interact with the UI to do some changes before you save, including age, live-update flag, etc.

I have just tried in-game and the current version can now successfully convert a TED file and import it.
A screen shot is posted on my Twitter.

@siuming have you tested any Unused Player ID's from last season using the Live Update Player Flag to bring new player ID into game for PES 2021?

Thanks! A few questions:
What is the impact if the Reputation and Attitude settings
When I try to save as PES2021(in-game) it says the file dies not have an app associated with it... Not sure what that means.
When I save as PES2021(unmasked) how do I then encrypt the file so that I can use it?

@siuming have you tested any Unused Player ID's from last season using the Live Update Player Flag to bring new player ID into game for PES 2021?
If I can get encrypted I'll use a file tonight, and see what happens! I've used the same IDs that I used for these particular players in 2020. But also used 25000 for one of them.

Reputation (also known as "Star rating) is reflected in the market price in Master League. Not sure about attitude but this value do exists.

After pressing "save as PES2021(in-game)", I think you will download a file. This is a TED file. You can directly put in into the WEPES folder of the USB and try to import on PS4

Unmasked is useful for hex editing or some other editors which are supporting it. After modifying the unmasked one with external tools, you can load it using my TEditor and save it as "PES 2021 (in-game)" to import it on PS4.

Ok, so save as unmasked, then re-open in the TEDitor and then save as in-game?

The live update trick still works for adding player. I have just tried to add custom league players just.
Tried several different Unused Player ID's from last season and got the message of This Data Includes Players Who Can Not Be Imported.

Will try again when SMcCutcheon releases his TED Editor tomorrow.

Either Konami have shored up this exploit or will have to wait until the Day One Patch.

EDIT

Works for previous made files with Unused Player ID's but doesn't work if you manually change to Unused IDs in the tool.

So assign the player IDs in last year’s took, save and convert to PES2021 using this tool?
