I traded PES5 in the other day as it finaly did my head in, I don't like the new style and neither do my friends, there as also been alot of complaints on the site. I didn't think you would go as far as trading it in but I just wasn't getting any fun out of it anymore, I think I will get PES4 again or re-install my PC version, I will definatly get the next-gen versions but if there the same then I think I will hang up my controller.

You just have to play a lot and then it will finally click so in my opinion. Wrong Decision.

Wrong decision mate. PES5 could have rock your world if only you played it more. Pity you didn't have the skills or patience to have fun. :(

I could win and such on 6 star but it was tedius and there was too many fouls.

Before anymore reply the reason wasn't because I couldn't win, as I could, I just didn't find it fun anymore.

Wrong Decision in my opinion.
Then again if you weren't enjoying it and had played it for long enough thats fair enough, your choice.

Yes, did very well but again was tedius, everyone playing as either Barca or Brazil, no real competitors just newbies fucking about.

Yes, I understand. I guess you've grown too old of this generation's football. Next gen football will be best for you, I hope. :)

No fun at first. Now It's amazing how the game is so realist. Outstanding games between friends.can change the tempo at any time of each match. You can play slowly or get much faster...
Just take one month to think about it and play. Don't forget, in "EVOLUTION", the Hardest will be the Easiest....

i can see where your coming from mate, i nearly gave up playing the game but i've started a master league and its given me a new dimension, feel like i'm playing better, the shite lads helped me adapt to the new style, and i'm enjoying the game more now.

understand your decision though

I can't understand how anyone can think PES4 multiplayer is superior :\

It is so much more... cheap. It has so much less to do really with strategy, planning in advance and creativity; the most important skill seems like the ability to quickly juke back and forth and quickly pass as soon as you think you're going to lose the ball. Never use long passes, in PES4 they pretty much suck. All goals in PES4 seem like dirt goals to me.

I dunno, I just think PES5 improved the quality of the experience... and not just by a little bit. The difference in my multiplayer games with friends is like night and day. I mean in PES5 now you can regulate the flow of the game, you can actually put a stop to an attack by playing proper positioning (as opposed to ball rushing like in PES4)... formations make a much bigger difference, etc. With all this comes frustration from having to re-learn to play, but IMHO it's way worth it. And anyone who tried to play PES4 like real soccer (and I guarantee they would've been extremely jaded in the attempt) really won't have much of a learning curve at all with PES5, I don't think.

edit: pes4 reminds me of NBA jam

50!

115 and Counting...
It's just because you were about as good at it as Peter Crouch is at football. ;)

At first, I also thought wow, it's very different. But when you've mastered the techniques it will all work out just fine. I definitely think that this is a better game than the previous. It's just getting used to the style.
Man I love this game!!!
