Has anyone got it yet. i want it really badly but i hate getting stuff off filefront cause you have to wait gfor ages and i dont want to. so does anyone know anywhere else where you can get it from?

i am downloading the demo right now my sys. is:
1,7 GHz
256 MB RAM
64 MB GeForce 2 400 MX
i don't know if it'll run but if it starts i doubt it will run smoothly

after downloading the game yesterday i was very disappointed, this game isn't that fun to play, i just jumped to the battle didn't play the tutorial, there were 2 armies facing eachother and you're playing with hannibal, you got a lot of legions cavalry elephants whatever then you command them all together, timing is everything, it's like a true battle, soldiers wear off, you can go after the fleeing enemies, the graphics aren't that pretty, though they can get a lot better with a better PC, the best thing that it gives you the feeling that you're in a battle that needs wise commands at the right times the battles are stupid actually i wonder if anyone has another review for it

bad graphics how can you say that when you have a geforce 2. i cant talk really cause i have one too. lol. did it run smooth cause my machine is very similar to yours.

it was ok actually, cut scenes are a bit slow, but almost everything was already on low, i tried to maximize them then my machine almost froze for about 1 minute then got back in, with a more slowdown so i kept everything on low like the default, i got the demo from 3d gamers i think, i just searched google for "download rome total war demo" and clicked on the first result it gave me, the game is growing on me, but still i am not used to the fact there is no building units or population ... you just go to the war with your units and try to get the best in your units, i am waiting for the full game cause they say it's gonna be "1000 times more in depth" i am waiting to lead the egyptian armies
edit: i just added a screenshot, it's from a cut scene, pretty much like gameplay you think, but when you are really playing this is when things go wrong armies details crumble courtesy of my graphics card
