Guys, I am seriously thinking about not releasing any more updates for my file. I have had (at least) three blatant rip offs of my file sold on eBay.

see if you notice any similarities to my first post EBay rip off and here

I have made only about £30 from selling them myself and from donations. I have to ask myself it is worth my time and effort for others to make money??

rosh just release the updates, not everyone is gona sell them on ebay but you will always get someone trying to make money out of things.

Thats shite, people making money from your hard work. It only takes one selfish idiot to ruin it for everyone else.
I think you should finish the championship players and then release it with a password protection (dunno how you'd do that) but then only give the password out to those who donate. Surely if everyone who wanted to have this gave as little as £2 it'd get you a drink or 2 over xmas.

Hope you do continue to produce the top quality work.

top idea mate... do a base file and then email out the update files once people have donated...

to be fair mate, back in the day i used to pay a tenner for a ps2 option file which got sent to me in the post. i'm sure people wouldn't mind giving you a couple of quid for their option files.

maybe you should think about doing this as a test for the next update when you have finished the championship teams? also, that will scupper this ebay muppet from selling your work leaving him with a cr@p unfinished option file on sale...

Good ideas, but there's always someones stuff to rip off for free anyway. Would people pay a couple of quid for my file if they could download one of the many others on here for free?? Who knows.

The eBay rip-offs are being sold by people from this forum as they cut and paste my opening post. You know who you are.......

I hope you don't feel completely discouraged by all that's happened. People like that are everywhere. Trying to leech off the good work of others. Stay cool, you know we support you and give you the credit you deserve and that's really all that should matter. :)
