I also have problems using the option file. I just got my PES 2010, started it, downloaded the 1.03 update, quit the game and copied the option file plus all the kit files. When I start the game I get the same error message as many here:

"Load failed because data is from a different version.
Download content and update data."

After this I uninstalled the PES 1.03 update and tried again without updating to 1.03. I still got the same error message.

Do I need 1.01 or 1.02 version update for PES? Just to run this option file with that version and THEN update to 1.03??

Thanks for this - Jeez guys read the thread! Konami keep screwing up my file and I am putting it all back together again so it works properly for everybody. Will release something hopefully tomorrow - in the meantime make sure you have downloaded the latest patch and the latest DLC in the game

Thank you once again

My thanks to you, once again for the great O.F.

However, I'm having two problems here.


1. The players of Bayern Munchen and Wolfs. are you know...'Konami Men', not the real players such as Luca Toni, Robben, Ribery and so on.


2. For C.C. Championship, all the list of players appear as 'PLAYER 01' (not sure whether it was 01 but anyway). and there are only two emblems applied; Newcastle Utd. and W.B.A.

Im having the same problem there seems to be no players at all for the c.c. Championship...?

Do all these need unlocking?

No they haven't been made yet. The players you see are just placeholders for when he gets the time to actually do them. It's a lot of work, be patient. :)

You can't PM if your post count is low.

For all those people who are having trouble with the option file not loading.

FIRST, make sure you that your copy of the game is REGION 2 BLES 00688 (check spine) aka UK VERSION

SECOND, before you apply the Option File you have to update the game twice, first with the prompt when you pop the game disc in, and then go to System Settings --> Download once you're in the game.

Thankyou faiyez, i wouldnt have getten the 2nd download without a prompt, never woulda thought of it! Cheers mate.

Was gonna do some work but think i might end up on the ps3!

Hi all, i've downloaded the v1.03 & the DLC for the boots etc.i had similar problems others have had regarding data from different versions etc, which led me to this forum, i've deleted all of these, should i download anything else prior to the new file rosh is working on?

If so, how? and what effect does it have? are all the player registrations defaulted?
