Why can't people just be entirely greatful that they in fact are using an option file to begin with? People. please understand that an option file (especially one of this calibre) takes tremendous amounts of time and constant effort to complete. I know this because I tried making one myself and gave up. Honestly, of the 90something pages of replies here I have hardly seen any notes of a mere "thanks" to Rosh (for those of you who have, this post doesn't apply to you). Its either "I can't get it to work whats wrong?" or "can you please put in adam johnson, make the championship league along with the bundesliga, make official logos for all tournaments and why not make that 14 year old wonderkid in arsenal, etc, etc". If it doesn't work search the threads for why it doesn't (most problems you encounter have been by other poeple) and use common sense. If a file doesn't work, first thing to do is check if the OF is compatible with your version of PES and if not, update. If thats not the problem, try deleting and installing the whole OF again and make sure the original file you downloaded is a complete working version. Unfortunately, Rosh's OF doesn't work with the latest update which is sad but why go and mock Rosh that he is lazy and lacks passion for his very own OF? I had tremendous love for my OF that I had briefly tried to create a few years back and my OF was about what a grain of sand would be to the sun compared to what Rosh has provided so I can't even imagine how much pride and love Rosh has towards his OF. As for requests, I am sure Rosh welcomes them to make his OF better but quit the stupid whining already. I'm sorry to spill it out for you but there will not be a single "perfect" OF for you that includes every single aspect of the game that you want. It's just impossible. Before you go on and ask for the ten millionth time if Sol Campbell is created in Arsenal (taken care of in 1.05 btw) or if [team name here] is in other leagues B, just take a look around the forums for the OF that best fits what you want and then make the little tweaks yourselves. There are loads of OFs out there each with its own distinctions (I've even seen a Portugese Liga Sagres OF) so there is much to consider before making your pick. Rosh's OF has been made for his personal use and he is doing us a favor by uploading it here to share. In essence, this OF wasn't really made for YOU but Rosh, so say your thank yous and enjoy it or leave it.
As for the people who criticize Rosh's donating option, what part of the word donation do you not understand? Its a donation, not an MSRP for the option file. Yes Rosh poured out his heart and soul into creating this OF and yes he wants your money but only if you WANT to give it. How infuriated would Rosh have been when he saw a bunch of ill mannered people selling his very own OF for profits on ebay? Personally I would have taken down the file entirely out of fury but Rosh has been kind enough to leave it here and has even had the decency of updating after that atrocious incident, still free for us to use.
So people. quit your whining and bitching about Rosh's OF. It was made for Rosh by Rosh and quite honestly I think its one of the best the PES community can offer. He has the right to update whenever and whatever he wants as it is his file. If you use it, say thanks and if not, don't badmouth the lad.
