I downloaded the latest Konami update last night from Costa Rica and while playing with Juventus and trying a free kick with Diego I got shocked after watching his way to do it. He was like Jesus Christ trying to kick it, with his arms raised and never did anything... That is a big inconvenience don't you think guys????

I really appreciate all the effort that you are putting on this...
Here is a concern a have about the Latest Konami Update (1.04 according to Wikipedia). FYI: I' m Costa Rican (Central America) and I have downloaded it last night and of course I lost the line up for the additional teams made by You and my question will be if it will be and new release from You with this new update included?? By the way I read from here that your patch will only be usable at UK, well that's weird cause I have it here in Costa Rica working fine, sorry till yesterday due to the update that screwed it.

Mate, why don't you have a go at creating an option file then? It takes time and the fact Rosh provides it for free... try to be a little bit grateful.
Is there any pre-requisites on which KONAMI updates we are using for the Option File to work?

For those of you confused about the emblems-there are only a certain number allowed, so Rosh made the premier league ones and ccc ones and as a result some teams (la liga, bundesliga, etc...) don't have their official emblems or have generic ones. if you want ones that aren't there, you need to add them yourself.

No, I believe the newest one (that just came out) is 1.04. 1.03 is the one before that, which was released just before Christmas. The stupid thing is, all of these guys making option files have a lot of work to do again because of the update that came out this week wrecking a bunch of the editing, so who knows when complete option files that compensate for update 1.04 will come out.
That's why I'm still using the JPR Supreme option file from like November (i think 1.02 compatible). i don't play online and all of the "improvements" that have come with each update are not worth it to me.
This is the interesting bits ... as you said latest one is 1.04 and there is no way for us, users to cherry pick and get 1.03.
Do you know if we are able to choose which update to be downloaded? The reason I asked is because I'll get my PES2010 in a week time and when I download the KONAMI updates, it will download 1.04 straight away hence no OF will work.

I'm almost positive you will have to go with 1.04 straight away. I was in your position last year, where I took a break from the game, came back right when a new update came out and all of the existing option files were for the previous update. Very frustrating.
You may be in luck though if you aren't getting the game for another week. Sounds like a few option file makers have already posted about delays. I know Goalgerds isn't coming out till the first or second week of March, etc... I just read there is another update coming out soon to correct an issue that occurs because of the most recent update...what a clusterf#*k!

i was very happy with the 1.02 update that i had for quite sometime now. just updated the 2.0 & 2.1, but there seems to be many things missing (like the players in bayern munich for example)
does anyone know how i could fix this and what i must do to get it?
or maybe should i just re-update it back to the 1.02 version?
