Running at the right speed

I had no idea that this will happen to me. Recently I bought a new Sony TV and I ran PES4 at 50hz. It was running too fast for my liking. Whenever I had the ball, I would try to slow down the game. Believe me, it was difficult, the CPU player breathed down my neck and I had to speed up my game. All in all the game looked unrealistic and in a hurried fashion.I begin emphatize with those who feel that the game is unrealistic because it is just too fast. Fortunately I had played this game at the ideal speed. I knew something was wrong. At half time, I check the stats of the player. I was shocked. Despite playing for some 45 minutes, the players' fitness bar did not dip much. Impossible, as my players have exerted a lot of energy to catch up with the CPU and I would have expected some 10-20% reduction maybe more. The next thing I did was to run it at 60hz. Fortunately for me except for some jerk at the goal mouth area reminiscent of WE7 but not as bad, the game ran at an ideal speed, almost like the real thing. I've checked the player' stat at half time. Their green bar did dip for 10-20% so I know that the game is running at the right speed.

For those who cannot run the game at the proper speed at both 50/60hz try it out with other TV models. Don't miss out on this game. It is really the mother of all computer games.

I bought a Panasonic 100Hz widescreen, at 60Hz, PES4 is too fast and arcadey, so I turned me Xbox down to 50Hz and the game plays at just the right pace.
