I'm praying Konami have sorted that out for the final release... think how easy that is if you master it. I farted about earlier with Scholes n i hit the post with my 2nd attempt... think how annoying it would be to concede that goal if you're 1 nip up, attacking in their half n they break and score that peice of shit

Oh my God, I knew this game had some issues... but DAMN!

The keeper shouldn't have been that far out, and the chances of being that accurate are infinitesimal... DAVID BECKHAM! But still, what the hell!

Do me a favour, help Konami by actually doing more than defending the games infinite issues and flaws and hoping that they'll go away and actually being critical. This is set to go down as another failure and your praising it!

Im always pretty shocking at shooting from further that 30yards.

Maybe because i hardly ever attempt it and like to pass myway through th defense.

I never even got the long ranger in the last pro evo though im sure i scored from a free kick from 38 yard it didnt register it in the stats lol.

I've somewhere got 2300 odd words of the flaws, but you didn't read it! I never said anything against the keepers if you checked, the only issue I had was the beyond halfway goal, which does seem to be happening more than the normal once in thousand moment that it should, but hey!

My issue is more than the players feel like Robots, and I've told you once, I'll tell you again, reviews mean nothing, have you played the demo yet matey?

I once scored an absolute rocket with Nedved on PES 5 from my own half, ball didn't even dip, kept rising and straight into the top corner.

I'm actually kinda glad stuff like this happens, because it DOES happen in real life, as has been pointed out before. Aslong as it's not a case of it happening with every shot you do.

PES '09 is gonna rule. No doubts in my mind.

This was a problem in PES2008 also. I used to score them all the time using the manual high pass function and it provided me with much thrills especially when executed against cut-back queens. But the half way goals problem was fixed with a patch or two and it wasn't long before they could no longer be done.

I played it a bit, but still almsot all the flaws of pes 08 are gone. That's an animation problem (robotic movements) and not a flaw.

Yeah I scored a goal like that on PES4 on the PS2 except it bounced on the 18 yard line and lobbed the keeper. I would be worried if it was a common occurrence but as a one off its ok.

Then again Xabi Alonso does scores those in real life quite often (best one against Harper )

This happens in real life yeah, 1 out of 10000 matches. WE don't want this in a game because of a glitch, people get real

^I'm getting real. You said it yourself. It does happen. For example you really need to get lucky to score in pes 09 unlike pes 4.
