Scoreboard V2 Converted Need help Please (Updatd INFO)
Ok i have converted the PC Scoreboard V2 to the X360, BUT there are problems.
Let me explain a bit.
I have been at this for a few weeks now. it's not that easy.
1st of all you need to create more reserved space in rv_x.img on the file misc_radar_51.bin this needs to be 121k minimum.
This can be done with GGS. The file in my download has an extra 2 place holders for 2 extra png files. I don't take credit for this. (PC Scoreboard Editors Did This).
Next we come to the difficult part.
I needed to identify the X360 equivalents of the PC versions files.
CV_0
728.bin (PC) = 780.bin (X360) (New info for V2 Scoreboards)
736.bin (PC) = 788.bin (X360) (New info for V2 Scoreboards)
863.bin (PC) = 911.bin (X360)
864.bin (PC) = 912.bin (X360)
866.bin (PC) = 914.bin (X360)
RV_X
unnamed_50.bin (PC) = misc_radar_51.bin (X360)
unnamed_104.bin (PC) = misc_radar_105.bin (X360)
As far as i understand the
864.bin (PC) = 912.bin (X360)
866.bin (PC) = 914.bin (X360)
are NOT needed for V2 Scoreboards i compared them on hex workshop and there was no changes made for V2 Scoreboards.
This file 736.bin (PC) = 788.bin (X360) is just a graphical change.
This file 728.bin (PC) = 780.bin (X360) had 2 hex changes
0100 to 0000 and again 0100 to 0000
I'm not sure what this is i have asked for help on what this is doing but none was forthcoming.
To edit the This file 736.bin (PC) = 788.bin (X360) i loaded it into zlib manager in AFS changed header to 16 and unpacked, edited in hex workshop then repacked.
Problem was when repacked there seemed to be 2 sect ID's instead of 1...?
Next i compared the 2 files 863.bin (PC) = 911.bin (X360)
The X360 version is almost identical apart from some hex is reversed.
Sometimes it is 2 bytes sometimes its just one. E.G.
PC Version 1234 5678
360Version 7856 3421
So i compared unedited PC Version to 360 Version along with Edited PC Version...
The header goes from game2d_00.common_window to game2d_00.common_window.scoreboard_01.tvlogo_01
This adds the new png's to display onscreen when playing the game.
Then the rest of the 863.bin (PC) = 911.bin (X360) is all about where to display the files on screen.
This is what took alot of time to convert to X360..
As the PC and X360 files are identical apart from byte flipping here and there i converted the PC file into X360 as this file had the placeholders allready set.
This then was compressed into 911.bin (X360)
Ok so we atleast have a fully converted placeholder file.
Problem i have is as with alot of X360 editing with this game, when i insert the bins and try to load the game it stays at the PES2008 logo loading, i have had this happen with just changing the title screen.
This should NOT happen with this file as it's not loaded untill you start the game.
I feel i'm not far off getting this to work, i have uploaded the files below if anyone can insert them and get the game to load please let know. It could be worth trying without the 788.bin

If anyone wants the raw hex they can get it here, maybe someone can compress the 788.dat back into the 788.bin as it should be.

As with all patchers i have used alot of discs lol.....
I did try version 1.1 but ended up with no graphics on screen hahaha.
Any help would be appreciated.
