Ive been reading through discussions and it seems to me that a lot of fans are finding faults already with the game and there's even sites selling pes2010 for £27.99 but fifa 2010 is still £39.99 on the same site,

its not looking good for PES maybe we will have yet another disappointing game from konami, i wonder how much asda will be selling it for come xmas i think i might buy it then, or wait to get it preowned if there is a lot of unhappy fans the games will drop dramatically in price so preowned will be even cheaper

sorry guys if this offends anyone its just my opinion on what ive read in here anyone else feel the same ?

This game is going to be the return weve all been waiting for. After playing the WE demo im sold. The we demo is only like 10% better but is a massive improvement imo so im certain the final product will be quality. Then you have all the modes on/offline.

I havent seen PES cheaper than FIFA anywhere, the only website that they aren't the same price is Amazon which has FIFA at £34.99 and PES at £36.96? HMV has FIFA £34.99 and PES £39.99.

i aint impressed with the game in the slightest but i will be buying it because i think the ML is going to drag this game to a higher position than its gameplay this year. Honestly there isnt much difference in gameplay between the last 4 installments and this, and i havent really noticed 360 dribbling but ive always spent my time in the ML and with the improved opposing AI maybe this time i will have a great team that doesnt win the treble every season. Also hopefully you can switch teams at the end of a season, i loved building my team in FIFAs manager mode then moving on and having to later play that team i had put together, would work so well in PES.

I think the price tag reflects the poor offerings of the past few years tbh. The opposite is happening with Modern Warfare 2 this year - they're bumping up the price because they know it'll still sell.

After playing the demos I think that the price is an absolute bargain. I've got it preordered at shopto for less than 30 also. :)

Price of the games do not mean anything. Actually if pes is at a reduced price, it's a good thing since it sells.:)
Anyway no on can comment on it since it's not even out.

Yea I totally agree with M@.
The past 2 years haven't been the best of years for PES, so stores are selling PES2010 cheaper than usual. NOT because PES2010 will suck, but because previous PES haven't been the best.
Stores know that if the last 2 games where not good, why would someone buy PES2010 for £40? Therefore they lower the price to attract new customers.
So like M@ said that Modern Warfare 2 is selling EVERYWHERE for £45 because the previous game was amazing and the game of the year.
So its not because PES2010 will suck, its because previous PES games haven't been the best PES's (08 and 2009)

I have pre-ordered Modern Warfare 2 lol I can not wait!
Though i'll be getting PES2010 from ASDA as usual :)

I did customer service at school and i'm doing business at college so I kinda know this a lot lol
