Shoot sensitivity

It's really annoying when I lightly tap the shoot button (on 360) and the shot is extremely hard. Is there an option to change the shoot sensitivy? I always shoot the ball over the goal this way, really annoying when I want a soft shot.

Try using r2 and shooting, it's more accurate with less power
There are 2 types of r2 shots -
R2 THEN SHOOT
OR PRESS SHOOT THEN WHEN YOU SEE THE POWER BAR PRESS R2.
These types of shots are really effective especially when you are in the box

Exactly. This is how konami "fixes" the GK problem....by equally fucking up shooting.

Played a 2-2 draw recently where I must have had 15 one-on-one's and hit 14 of them straight at the keeper. L2 (changed my buttons), L1, nothing worked. The one shot that the keeper didn't save went wide left, even though I was trying to go right...

If you take your football gaming seriously, you should probably pass on this game....Unless you enjoy konami deciding where you should shoot....

Or wait for a patch.....
Or PES 2013; I'm sure konami will get it right by then....

personally i liked it where the time you held tha button down was for height, cuz u can shoot exactly when u mean to

I just played a game of pes 2011 for the first time in months and it really does highlight how bad pes 12 shooting is.

as i said in other posts, the controlled shot in fifa is retardedly overpowered and controlled shot in pes is retardedly out of control

I guess Konami tried something "more realistic", because in fact you dont know exactly where your shoot will hit, you can try the right or the left, more power or less, but you dont have the right position about your shoot.

Its how pes 12 works, you can shoot and try the right side of the keeper, but like the on real, it doesnt happen.

I´m loving the shooting on pes 12 especially at pc version.

Don't know about PC version. But are you saying that footballers aren't able to choose the side of the goal they are shooting at in 1-on-1 situations?

There is nothing even remotely close to "real" when it comes to shooting in PES

Nop, I´m not saying you can´t choose the side. What I say is to consider some facts about the real life soccer.
