Shooting Advice Please

I'm getting used to general gameplay, but shooting is all over the
place, if using d-pad i direct to rh side it shoots middle(compared
to pes5) when one-on-one with keeps it goes straight at keep.

has anyone worked it out yet, or can help me please?

Try this. Press the shoot button (keep it pressed down) to build up the power gauge. Release when the power gauge reaches your desired level. Remember that the length of the power gauge determines power and height of your shot (I try to get it about half.) As your player swings back his leg to shoot press and hold down the slow dribble button (R2 – placed shot) along with the desired direction of the shot, don’t let go of the direction otherwise you’ll generally just shoot straight at the keeper!

You probably know most if not all of this but there is really no other way to perfecting shots.

Also, keep in mind that shot accuracy is largely dependent upon the animation process, don’t try to shoot if your player will hit it with his bad foot or doesn’t have enough room to run up and hit the ball. Shooting from stationary or slow dribble isn’t advised for midrange shooting (I wouldn’t advise it unless it’s a tap in situation)

Interesting. In the last game if you didnt LET GO of the d pad youd go wide - a reverse job here then

The shooting is driving me crazy! Its all over the place.. its pathetic how Konami makes you miss free on goal no keeper & it goes 3m above goal. Its pure crap!!
So please tell me why player seems to lob the ball all the time or shoot high, I never hold down anyother butten, just shoot & then directionnn stick...

They only lob it if your holding down on the d-pad. I never had a problem with shooting in it, find it easy to score thunderbolts. I dno if i could really offer any advice bout techniques or anything like that.. I just know how to score good goals in it, comes naturally i guess. Just try to only shoot when you've worked space at a good angle. Oh and use R2 and the D-pad to help direct the shot afterwards.
