Shooting in PES 2015

Hi all,

I have been playing PES for many years but I have stopped for a few years. PES 2015 is my first PES game again and I play on PS4.

I have a big problem with shooting (square button), even with the least amount of power in the power bar I shoot to high. I hit the bar 5 to 10 times a game and it gets frustrating. I tried as well with manual aiming but that does not help. Even for an open goal standing in the middle of the 5 meter box I hit the bar. I remember not having this problem a few years back. Can someone enlighten me about this because it takes away the fun of the game for sure. So please, what am I doing wrong?

If you have on advanced shooting then you need to shoot normal, but when youre player are about to hit the ball then you need to take the right stick and point it towards youre own goal, then it will be a low shoot.

If you're using advanced shooting as I do, then just as your player hits the ball, or just after you've let go of the square button, press diagonally up or down towards your own goal.

I.e. if you are playing from left to right, then on the left stick/D-Pad push diagonally down and left (7:30pm on an analogue clock) - after you've pressed square. This will direct your shot to the bottom right corner of the opposition goal.

Still playing left to right and hitting diagonally up and left (10:30pm) will aim at the bottom left corner. diagonally up and right, will be top left corner and diagonally down and right will be top right corner.

It corresponds to how you see the goal on screen, not from the players point of view.

It's tough, but think it's worthwhile putting in the effort.
