If you got an xport i dont see much point. I aint got an xport so i might get it to patch end stuff but you can do this with your version, so stick to ps2. :)

I agree with MatPhilips. If your pc is strong and good enough to meet the PES3 pc requirements then go for it. But with x-port and pes3 for ps2 I don`t really see a point of buying PES3 for your pc.

Has anyone saying 'No' actually played the PC version? Even the demo? I think we'd all be better off waiting and then making an informed decision once we've seen how it plays.

I've waited until now and will buy both versions from Game on Friday - I'll take back whichever one is worst in my opinion, but if the PC version plays as well as the PS2 (or 95% as well maybe) then I think I'll be sticking with that as the editing and patching will be so much easier.

I'll post my impressions over the weekend.

The PC version is on DVD - ROM so it make that little extra harder to copy. I might get the PC version for all the editing capabilities.

If you have a chipped console then patch your PS2-game in order to get original kits etc. and forget about the PC version. If you don´t have a chip in your PS2 and you have a good PC (eg 1,5 GHZ, 256 MR Ram, Radeon 9700) then grab the PC version.

you can easily make a copy of the dvd without dvd burning software
but its kinda pirating
just copy the dvd contents on to ur hard drive and make them an image file like .bin or .iso and then just get daemon tools and make a virtual drive and mount the image onto it and voila!

Ye ive a good pc spec(p4 2.5, 512mb ram, radeon 9000 pro 128mb). I think ill just get the pc version anyway...always going to be better than ps2 version anyway.

I have a p4 2.4
1024mb RAM
Radeon 9700 128meg
and a Usb converter to plug my ps2 ontrollers into my computer
so i am relly considering getting it mainly for the graphics and the 200gigs to save my goals!!! and patches... it would be aweomse to be up to date and to have all the badges and kits and names...

To be honest, even though I don't have a PS2, I would recommend getting the PS2 version simply as it is quicker and easier and guaranteed to run well...especially if you just want to play the game, particularly for quick multiplayer blasts...however, if you have a PC that can run the game well (perhaps try the demo first to get an idea of how it runs), you really want to patch/edit, and you have a decent joypad/adaptor (i have a USb adaptor for a gamecube joypad) then the game plays identical except in higher res...
And in terms of PC specs, it seems to me that it is not so much about having a good PC as having the right PC, as Konami seem to have a done a very lazy and shoddy port.

the pc version guys has many bugs. Too many to be honest. Dont get it until we guarentee you(us the fools who bought it) that is okay. Dont spend your money cause nobody guarentees us that Konami will bring up a good patch for us
My problem with PES3 Pc version is that it goes too slow even though i have a p4 2.9 ghz and a FX 5200.
