Should PES focus on master league for 2018?

whilst Pes 2017 has been gaining some great reviews, its a shame the ML is pretty much the same. the same gripes remain such as no regens (just reincarnated players), any player will come to you no matter what team you are providing you meet financial critera, terrible interface and poor transfer market options.

I think Konami are missing a trick here. They have tried to implement myclub to go head to head with fifas ultimate team, but its a battle they will never win, fifas fan base is far too big and ultimate team is better then myclub in its current format.

PES is very much a game for hardcore football game fans, they have got the gameplay nailed down pretty well, so why not focus on Master league? Fifas career mode, whilst slightly better then ML, still has issues and is largely ignored by EA. there is still a huge contingent of fifa players not happy with career mode, this is PES's time to get them to jump ship.

why not for 2018, go all out on master league, get it up to scratch and make it an enjoyable experience. PES cannot go head to head with fifa, so it needs to expolit fifa's weaknesses and take up market space that fifa hasnt yet, such as career/ML.

no one is going to leave ultimate team for my club, but people will leave career mode for master league if its good.

i know ultimate team/my club is a cash cow, but if there are no players to play it, it wont make money anyway

100 percent agree. I only play master league. I dont even know what myclub is. ML needs to copy FIFAs career mode. Put in option for transfer frequency and turn off first transfer window.

Agree so much. PES' Master League is famous in the video game industry, but Konami seem to again be living off past experience. ML is the definitive game mode in Pro Evo, and the sole reason I purchase it every year.

It's good that a deadline day, specific wage budget and real-kick off times have been added, but this stuff has been in FIFA for years.

They should.And I wish they would as ML is what I'm interested in most. But they won't.

Multiplayer is where the money is at. Not just for football games but all other games.

There are some tweaks they can do to make a difference though, surely wouldn't take up too much time/budget to sort out.

I don't know much about this years version, but the thing that I want changed the most is when you get a fresh intake of youth players and you get the regenerated retired players who appear with their same name.

There's just no joy to be had in getting a 16 year old Totti or Drogba join your youth set up. You already know how they're going to turn out and it immediately removes the joy of discovering 'gems'. It can't be hard to make retired players reappear with random names.

The Regen and youth system definitely needs reworking.

It can't be terribly difficult to assign a random name system for regens...all that is needed is a pool of country specific surnames and just attach a random alphabet for the first name.

They need to focus more on delivering a better online performance. The game is great this year in a few things. Sadly it's still lacking in others, mainly online and goalkeepers. I play online mainly for pes. The game was just laggy as hell last night for me. The keepers lost me 3 games due to them palming the ball to an oncoming striker.
One time the ai hit a looping volley and it hit the keepers chest and a striker scored from the rebound.
Yeah i know this happens, but i lost 4 games in a row due to errors/lag. The keeper actually palmed the ball into his own net on one game, the ball was not travelling fast either.

I've traded it in to game, only ended up losing about 4 quid so not so bad. I know it's a far better game than fifa will ever be, but i rather have a smooth connection online and keepers that i know will perform consistantly well(LOL,hopefully). Plus i have my blood pressure to think about.
I'm sure everyone will enjoy pes 2017, it truly is great. (OFFLINE)
