Signing Torres

Im playing as man utd in the master league have gone about 5 seasons in and im trying to sign torres.Have signed gerrard but i just cant get him.Put on hold keeps coming up.
I offered 60000 points and robben along with 3000 wages.
Any tips.
i badly need a young enough stiker as saha and berbatov are getting old.

I Got him after my second season i offered liverpool 6000points+ Kuranyi and salry of 3000 :S And it helped that my team popularity is S and liverpool was only 10th in the league

My popularity is S and iv won the european cup for the last 3 years and the league.I will try again in the mid season break but i might have to trade a better player than robben.

it will be hard to sign torres for you because you are in same league with the team but as damojag said get soldado he is superb his shopt power goes up alot and everyting
