i have read some gripes about a lot of silly things on here and can put most of it down to teething issues and not playing well etc. this game is really good! ....but there is one thing thats irritating me...

perfectly good looking slide tackles that get punished!

there are a few that are close calls but quite regularly im pulling of a fantastic last ditch slide tackle (that looks great), not touching the man at all and being penalised for it..i guess others have noticed this to.

it doesnt even appear to be a matter of poor timing.

It makes you not want to do them. Especially in the area.

PES just gives itself free kicks for fouls the AI commit if they wanna get level anyway. Happened to me 3 games in a row in the last 10 mins. Even better when the guy on the line slides instead of heads...

Note that PES 11 DOES NOT HAVE AUTO SLIDE. You can turn it off. Go to the formations, then select auto trigger or something like that and make auto slide OFF.
But I agree that some perfect tackles get called as fouls. Well from the demo anyway. It was annoying. Although in reality it does happen, it's still a bad thing in pes 11 as it happens a bit too often. And the way it happens makes it more obvious.

I agree but this is better than PES2010... In 2010 u got pwned by the CPU with a sliding tackle. The ref never ever gave u a freekick, not even a corner or throw in when the ball went out, thinking that de CPU might have hti the ball a bit.

In this PES it also matters what u do with the non slide leg (the leg that is bended to the back). Sometimes, u hit the opponent with that leg while u hit the ball with ur sliding leg and therefor the ref gives a foul. At least, that's with I found from the replays.
