Slight issue with 1st time shooting?

Hello,

Has anyone else experienced problems when trying to shoot first time? From a cut back or a lay off?

I've been playing with United and the game is very fluid and the build up play is excellent but when I want to shoot without taking a touch the players always control it first, then try and shoot,sometimes the chance is gone after that first touch.

Also, trying to place the ball low into the corner when one-on-one is difficult, my players always lift the ball even though I gently tap the shoot button.

Is this a problem for anyone else? How do I combat this?

PES '15 is,generally, looking good though.

Have you made sure your finger is off the shoot button before he receives it? Maybe a stupid question, but you may not be timing it properly.

I have no problems keepin it low when tapping it or even with a little power to get a hard low shot.Try using the finesse shot with little power, R2/RT, for placing it low into the corner under the goal keeper when one on one. It's more acurrate but with less power. You still should be able to hit low shots with tapping the button, though. Maybe your not tapping it as gently as you think.

A question, in your 'player data' settings, what shot type have you selected, basic or advanced?
Also, there should be some shooting based exercises in the tutorial, the text there is usually helpful.

I was playing around with it some more today and yes, the shooting was on 'advanced', once I switched to 'basic' it was much more responsive, more variation.

If you do want to use the advanced shooting, i would recommend using the manual shot for whenever you want to shoot first time. I think its LT + shoot button.
