slowdown solved?

As the title would suggest, i think i have solved the slow down issue.

I am currently playing the game on a PS3 and HD tv. I never really noticed that much slowdown except on replays so that is why i am unsure it will work for other users.

I installed the game by going to 'System Settings' in-game and selecting 'Install' (I was unsure at the time what this did so i thought i'd give it a shot). Realising that nothing had changed i continued on with my master league which I realised now has no slow down and in general is a faster game.

If other people would try this, we could find out if this solves the problem for more people

has anyone tried it yet? sorry for double posting but this DOES work and im sick of all these threads moaning about a good game.

I have had a few matches now and its definately much better. If anyone else has tried it or is going to please leave a message

yes. while on the game itself go to the system settings option. theres a list of things such as screen adjustment etc. at the bottom of the list is 'Install'. it takes a couple of minutes but as soon as its done restart the game and enjoy.

I've done it & still have slow down so I'm just using the wide camera angle. Playing on 42" HDTV with HDMI connection.

thats the same set up i have here, but im using the default camera. apart from replays i never really noticed it that much to begin with, now though i can definately see that the game is quicker and smoother

Ah I see. I usually play with broadcasting so that might be the problem.

When I first played the new game I didn't do the install to hard drive option. I played the game for a while and thought it was quite slow but just assumed it was the speed of the game as there was no jumpiness as such. This is because I remember when the last pro came out it seemed much slower then the previous.

I then became curious as to what the install data would do and so i installed it. Then i played another game and the difference was just amazing. The same sort of speed as in PES6.

Therefore I can stay that installing the game data did make a difference for me.

I am using a HDTV 42" with a Component connection as the tv does not have a HDMI input as it is a bit older.

I have however experienced major slowdowns on the network games. Such as when you make a tackle and get the ball and then it jumps loads of frames and somehow your opponent is clear through on goal!

Pretty much same set up as above. I also did the install thingy as i just pressed it to see what it did, the only slowdown i experience is in the replays and when the screen is full of players, i use the medium camera.

I noticed the "install" quite early on an clicked on it, but I wasn't really sure what it had done. It doesn't really seem to have made a great deal of difference. Replays are where the frame rate is a real problem for me.

Just to inform you that nvidia has launch new driver (26. oct. )!You can download driver on nvidia site!That may fix some issue!

When you have installed it on the hdd is that were you load the game from or do you still load it from the ps3 disc. I know it sounds a daft question

i have been playing pro on a normal pal tv 567 or something? i had installed the game and still got the slowdown during high balls crosses etc.
Today i went and purchased a Orion 32" HD tv for only £350! i am only using it for the ps3 (in spare room) and didnt want something expensive and after a demo of this unit i was impressed.
DONT ASK ME HOW BUT........ after changing the settings to 1080i (ps3 did it auto) and then playing pro i have lost the slowdown during games and it is only noticable during replays. It has also changes the whole game experience for me.

well ive just installed it lets see if it works for me.... ok there is still a small amount of slowdown! anything else i can do.

i will not resort to using crappy default cameras! i always use medium and i will not change that

sorry thats the only thing iv come up with so far. although using a hdmi cable and hd tv seems to improve it as well.

I play in default camera and theres no slowdown for me in-game in Stadiums 1 and 2.
Tiny bit in 1 or 2 others if the box is crowded.
Worst is the Berneabau. That happens quite a bit. So I just dont play it.

I played it without the data installed and it was fine, I installed the data and didnt notice any difference. I then un-installed the data and it was basically the same.
Someone mentioned above that the game speed becomes faster with the data installed: It didnt for me.

The only time I get framerate issues is in the replay.

I know it shouldnt be there at all but I was really happy when I first played last Friday as from this forums people were proper saying it was horrific and imo it isnt at all during gameplay.

i will try to install ... the problem is when u play with some1 ...(friend) then there is a little slowdown ... but when i play single ML runs like charm
