Hey!
I just installed SM Patch 3.9 and I have some problems..
1.
The whole Bundesliga is unnamed (Teams&Players) and unrated (Player-Skills). The League consists of bald one-size-fits-all players with the strength of 61 which names are PLAYER E,PLAYER D .. etc
I'm german, so this is a pity!
2.
The announced UEFA Cup Teams (like Red Bull Salzburg, Hapoel Tel Aviv etc..) aren't there. But there are a couple of teams in the list with the Austrian National Team Logo (6 oder 7..) but they have no players at all.
3.
Some teams from england's 2nd league and italy's 2nd league also have no Players (for example Newcastle United). So you can choose the team.. the Game-Intro starts,but in the moment the teams should be shown the game crashes (of course..).
I did as mentioned in the install notes..
Installed the game patched to 1.02., updated the roosters, and then installed the SM Patch.
I have the English version of the game (german commentators suck). I run Vista on my PC.
Any suggestions? I really would appreciate your help..
normally that's only happen whenever you don't update the game from the internal download. (go to game menu, download, ok; then install the patch)

new dlc affects of and boots as well as balls...so wait until soulmirror makes an update

The new patch won't exactly ERASE the changes, but it will mess with many things.
But, unlike Konami, SoulMirror releases his updates at a steady pace :w00t
(unless he says he's going on vacation and won't release a new update until next year. LOL!)

Some clubs' badges still the game's originals and the Bundesliga player names are all incorrect.
Yes, I installed the 2 Konami patchs. Then I updated inside the game.
I installed the Kitserver and it didn't work.
I uninstalled the game and installed again following the same steps. It didn't work again.
And as I wasted about 6 hours, I tried again: uninstalled, followed all steps and it didn't worked well. No way!!!
Maybe I'm the most unlucky person in the world...

Hello! I have done everything according to the tutorial but I can't make the patch work! I get the new logos, your new screen comes on when starting the game etc. But the new teams have random players. Bundesliga teams do no work. Arsenal's name is North London, other EPL teams are OK. It's only working to its half capacity or something.
But for example, the selector things also works some way at least, because I can switch off the SKYSPORTS scoreboard, but cannot choose Championship.
Any help, please?

I got exactly the same problem as m0sn and jagua, I followed the instructions closely...
Maybe it's a problem with the German version...?
I got the same problem, I fixed the names of EPL teams myself but then I tried to fix the german teams when I realized that some player are named PLAYER 2, PLAYER 12 etc.

I have thoroughly checked these 3 patches, 3.7, 3.8, and 3.9, and I can say that the most stable and the most polished one would be 3.7. If you can find it then just use 3.7.
Soul Mirror, Please work from 3.7 because 3.8 and 3.9 have too many issues. I think it's too late now because Konami's 1.03 Patch is out and whoever installs it will have even more issues because the Edit File won't be the same.

What have I done wrong? I've installed the patch as per the instructions and I get all the SM patch loading screens in game. All is well apart from the team names haven't been altered but the team logos have. Aston Villa have their proper logo but they're still called West Midlands Village. Also when looking for New Zealand for some reason Austria is in their place. Austria is also in place of Algeria. Why is this?

And I've just discovered that the Bundesliga is completely messed up. The teams are all called Team A, Team B, Team R etc. And the rosters are screwed up too. Other than that the Dutch and French leagues are fine.

Have you updated your game to DLC 1.3?
