check that link out 4 some movies and new screenshots of Smackdown vs Raw. in reply 2 sheringhams question , i havent seen Hulk Hogan in this game so it looks like he wont b on the roster. Wrestlers voices have been added this time tho, most wrestlers (except 4 some legends such as Andre the Giant) voices can be heard 4 the 1st time in the Smackdown series.

This game looks class, and its great to have online play included this time

Smackdown HCTP was awesome,

Hulk Hogan is not in the game, and wont be a legend either, he left the wwe a whilte back

the Rock is in the game, hes a legend and you have to unlock, this is the classic Rock from years ago, not the newer one with the tatoo

I think I stopped watching wrestling just after the WWF - WCW - ECW war ended a couple of years ago. This brings back some memories, I think I may have to give this game a try when it comes out.

Some new features included are:

Face/heel or officially referred to as clean/dirty meter will be included. Players are given the choice to be a heel, face, or neutral at the start of the match, it determines how you play throughyour match and what 'secret or cheating moves you do.

New match type which will be the parking lot brawl

Legends will now be referred to as 'Legend Kane' and Legend Taker

Belts can now be used as weapons

Andre the giant has been confirmed as a legend plus some more big names

im not sure about Stone Cold, i think he did, he seems 2 b in and out of wrestling every 5 minutes. i was under the belief that The Rock was still a wwe wrestler but just makes appearances every now and again due to his acting career, he is on the Legends anyway tho.

i havent watched wrestling since 2002 when itv digital ruined it all by goin bust! so im not 2 sure wot it is either lol i think i can remember quite a while back, in 1996 it was i think, Goldust fought Roddy Piper in a parking lot brawl and it was just like a hardcore match, oh, except 4 it included a car chase!

yeh thats true, when i was in florida on holiday for 2 weeks in the summer i saw it a few times and it was really quite shit, the amount of adverts took the piss aswell, there was this 60 minute iron man match between Chrs Benoit and Triple H and everytime a decent wrestling move was made it was 'oh my god, wot a move! how can he cope? we'll find out right after this break!' arghhh!

yeh the Smackdown game's r usually gr8 fun. I dont know how i put myself through watchin Raw that night, it was shite lol. i just wanted 2 c what wrestling was like since i last watched it,but i think i can safely say i left it at the right time.

More talking than wrestling?

Not half!

Chris Jericho comes out in Raw the other night and starts going on about how great he is now that hes the nine times intercontinental champ etc. Then the HBK comes out after his long absense with his legendary entrance and they start going on for ages about how they are so great. Then after about 10 mins lol Christian ocmes out saying he wants a match with Jericho 'right here right now' and then Jericho spends anotehr half hour going round the crowd saying how all that will happen is Tyson Tonko will run in then blah blah blah and the match last for about half as long as the chat!

Its still bloody class though!

The game itself looks awesome!

Wrestling has certainly gone more in favour of entertainment on the microphone and humourous skits - the serious (i.e feature match) wrestling happens on the special shows these days. When they get the balance right on Raw or Smackdown, then it's still great to watch (although IMO SD has a weaker roster) the classic matches always seem to come exclusively on PPV's now - HBK V HHH in Hell in a cell a recent example.

Anyone going to the UK shows in October? I'm going to Raw's Live and Loaded at Wembley.
