Smash Court Tennis 2

My housemate got this the other day and its pretty good as far as tennis games go. more decent players than usual and loads of stuff to do...

It's better in a lot of ways but there's a few annoying bits too.

you can create your own players and take them on a kind of career mode but you don't actually play matches in the tournaments you have to complete tasks which is a bit shit.

there's more people (henman, roddick, hewitt, ferrero etc) so overall i'd say its better but i wouldn't pay £40 for it.

it sounds alright, if i see it on the cheap i might get a copy, just for the multiplayer play

85% in PSM2 best Tennis game only behind Virtua and that sure aint bad

Sounds great if only for the multiplayer 4 way matches alone so yeah - might get it, now if only I didn't have to get GT4 MGS3 Driv3r HL2 GTA:SA PES4 MK;Deception and other games this year

The Big question is:

Is IT better Than Virtua Tennis. the only thing that attracts me to this game is the amount of players in the game. virtua tennis hasnt got enough players.

i have smash court tennis and it was good but when i got Virtua Tennis 2 i never played smash court again.
and by the looks of things i wont be buying Smash court tennis 2 because Virtua Tennis 2 still is the best tennis game at the moment

That's exactly the same with me except i got bored of vt2 and found smct2 to be much better. I'd definitely recommend smash court 2 over virtua tennis 2.

Well Smash court 2 is really good. Way better then Virtua tennis, no doubt. I cant understand why people say Virtue Tennis is better?! In Smash Court the gameplay is way deeper way more balanced. For example no Pingpong by the nets. More services types, more play styles etc etc
Virtua Tennis has finally a good replacement on the PS2.

You can play the matches on Pro Tour mode by changing that option. You don't have to complete tasks if you don't want, you can play a full match.

Really? if you mean what i think you mean then thats turned a very good game into a great game. so you can play the entire match from 0-0 in the tournaments?

you can play a match instead of mini games but the maximum you can play is one set and that's only in the finals of a grandslam but usually u start off having only to win 2 games and then it increases by one game every step further u take in the tournament. and by the way i have both smash court 2 and virtua tennis 2 and i think smash court justs wins it

smash court tennis 2 must b sumthin special then cos i think virtua tennis 2 is a fantastic game..id rly like a gr8 tennis game with all the top names..wot official players r included in smash court 2?

Henman, Roddick, Hewitt, Fish, Ferrero, S. Williams and loads more. I used to have vt2 and i think this is a fair bit better.
