So I saw the latest build of PES yesterday

I was at a games convention last night at the mall, it's called GAMES 09 at Dubai, they showed the latest builds of FIFA 10 and PES 10, although I couldn't play from the hordes that were there, I was able to see the game and compare it to the demo I downloaded from PSN which was a major disappointment.

It did look a lot better than the demo, that's for sure, but I can't confirm it since I haven't really played it. Players looked a lot more responsive and a minor graphical refinement. Just telling the people to hold out till the final game releases or download the winning eleven demo from the Jap store.

As for me, I am buying Fifa today and if PES really impressed me I will buy it as well when that comes out for the first time in three years. Cheers guys.

Sounds good, but regardless of who sees what there is no doubt in my mind that the finished game will be 100 times better so i am definatley buying!

Not really helpfull if you have'nt played it.

I mean look at the PES2010 videos before the demo was out. The game looked amazing, but when we played it some people where dissapionted.

But the WE2010 is much better, infact it is amazing.

Just 21 Days left now...... Woooo

BTW I understand that you could'nt play the games because there was lots of people ;)

I wish I could be more helpful but the PES and FIFA booths were the busiest, they had assassin's creed there as well as COD but the one game that I tried out was uncharted 2, don't want to disappoint anybody but I was expecting a lot more details into the depth of field from all the praise I 've been reading on the internet. However the far landscape and building seemed shockingly bland.

^Yeah I must say that i actually start believing that there will be great improvements from the demo to the full game, and not just the boot colours as from the demo to the full game of pes 09..

i forsee great dissapointment.

the demo is 8/10ths of the finished game. its not going to be 100times better, it might be slightly slicker, slightly tweaked - your not going to get the disc come launch punt it into PS3 and WOW NEW PES WOWOW TIME... its gonna be like the we demo but maybe a tweak from that...

anyone hoping for PES11 in PES10 is expecting FAR too much, its too late in the day to fix what PES is currently.

Everyone is saying that the demo was a really old build. The WE demo is already an improvement over the pes demo and the pes demo is not 8/10's of the finished game. Far from that.
Look at the front page.

because konami would have to be retarded to release something less than 80% of the final game as a demo, potentially with disasterous results...

the build was old.. but not like december last year old. the game has probably been finalised for a few weeks now and getting ready to go 'gold' or whatever process they use these days to get things published, packaged and distributed to be read in 2-3 weeks from now. the time for major changes was months ago.. the main engine/features are as is and just a few tweaks will be made. there is too large a chance to F something up if you change too much hence they will be tweaking/testing/retweaking as necessary.

once the foundations are laid, the game cannot transform into something completely different it just doesnt work like that.

i would LOVE to be wrong but i really dont think i will be.

they still tweaking the game right now,possibly this week will be the last week they gonna tweak the game with next week the embargo gonna end and surely they started sending the pes 2010 copy..

I think you are wrong on the demo because it has been confirmed that it's old and btw, not even the WE demo is at 80% for sure and that's newer than the pes demo. I am 100% positive on this.
Konami really did a bad move to release a demo this old.
Those who played the 90% code says that it feels mych better. Also it has been confirmed on the front page of this site. Take a look :)

anyway.........things have surely changed, yes there will be a point when they say that's it and start the releasing process, burnt, packaged etc. however they also have all the time in between to get the first patch ready a la fifa!
