guess sony really has been working on a next gen footie game for the ps3!
known as "this is football" in europe.

yeah, any1 know what teams and leagues were in there? i looked at reviews of the ps2 games, its best was a 8.2 in 2003 and then declined after that. the scea london studios are workin on it apparently (same people from home and singstar). i hope they take advantage of their first party privilege i talked about before

Last one I remember playing was This Is Football 2002. 4 different buttons for tackling was my favourite thing about the game, along with the mode where you could play as school teams in a playground, with jumpers for goalposts. Great fun.

If any of you played World Tour Soccer on the PSP, it was very enjoyable, and actually edging towards PES 6 I felt... There were certain similarities.

Could this game surprise us? I doubt it BUT certainly hope so.

That's was really good, i always enjoyed jumpers for goal posts

I also remember you could press R2 to dive, or hit a two footed tackle

codemaster brought the game for individual football clubs (celtic, rangers, man u arsenal liverpool etc) Did that not use the same game engine?
