Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent



Seeing as the game is coming out in 10 days and there is no thread about it, i thought it would be good to start one now. I've always enjoyed the SC games, even on the PS2, and i'm really looking forward to getting this one on the next gen console. Anyone else gonna get this when it's released on the 20th? It'll certainly keep you occupied until PES6 comes out....

As many of you know by now I prefer a good old multiplayer game and online play rather than solo play so SC on line Mercs vs Spies is always great fun. Hopefully we will see more maps this time out because that is what killed off the other ones for me.

I think it will. MGS3 was a major advance in tactical games and SC:CT was alsmot as good but just didn't cut it.

Yeah MG pushes the limits and SC happily strolls on with its predictable storylines and repetive mission after mission style game play. Yeah thats fantastic

Yes there are elements of fantasy in Metal Gear Solid, but its a fantastic game and I think its much better than Splinter Cell.

Metal Gear Solid will NEVER bore you. The story line is amazing, the boss fights are amazing, the general action is amazing. However, I cannot say the same about the Splinter Cell series.

For some reason SC is showing it hasn't been paid for, even though I paid for it well over a month ago :mellow: Football Manager and PES were paid for before SC though, so maybe they send them first, which could mean I wont have it next week :huh: Fuckers.

I seriously just ordered a 360 two days ago strictly for this game. Chaos Theory's multiplayer was fucking awesome. Once I get my 360, I'll run out and get this, a year of Live, and I'm done for.

Blue I think so but I aint checked it out yet. The free trail of PSU is online until the 18th

Yep you can! its only an online demo and its quality - im lovin it atm - Can't wait for the full version!
