Stutter?

Zygalski why close topics so soon, just coz it does'nt interest you, people should be able to make new threads up if they feels it desires so, its their board aswell.

I've only closed threads which are repeats of others. There's no need for 7 threads about the stutter and 16 threads about getting PES3 from GAME. If people use the threads already available, others can find information they are looking for much easier. There's no way we are having a new thread from every single user just to say "hi, i've got PES3 and it's great". Post in the Impressions thread if you have to do that. If you can find a thread that's been closed just because it "doesn't interest" me, let me know.

the game doesnt stutter for me, at all. It stutters for other, therefore its not konamis fault yeah? clean your damn PS2 and try again, I used to repair them and 95% of the time DUST would be the offender!! clean clean! DONT use the lens cleaning kits with the liquid stuff. hoover the front & the fan at the back, open it up (if your out of warranty) and give it a going over, chuck a lens cleaning kit in there and see how you go.

FYI i have a schp30003 and it runs perfectly.

I aint got PES3 yet but I'm gonna get it tumorrow so at the moment I dont know if I will be effected by the stutter bug. I tell ya what though I'll be disappointed if it happens to me. It is true that if U pay £40 for a game U should get the complete working game with no bugs whatsoever.

Anyway, what do U lot mean that the stutter only occurs on older PS2's? How old exactly? Cos my PS2 is only just 2 years old now, I bought it back in october/november 2001. I know for a fact I got a version 4 PS2 and that there are 8 different versions of PS2 so maybe it only effects the first 2 versions. Oh and If U don't clean your lens regularly, can this also trigger the stutter?

i get the odd stutter from goal kicks and one every now and again in general play, it was really noticeable at first but after a few plays you stop noticing it is there

Exactly. In te four or five threads opened about DREs, stutters etc., I'm always supported going in manually. It's far more practical then any lens-cleaning kit.

The new ps2's i know have no problem with the PES3 stutter. The SCPH 50003 has a much more powerful, better quality of laser and provides no stutter. A friend of mine has the satin silver ps2 and finds no stutter on his PES3! He recieved his yesterday! Damn Him!

My bought my PS2 on release. It broke in the first two months. I had it replaced and it's worked wonderfully ever since. I clean my laser every four months just to keep on the safe side.

Like I said before, the demo had bad stutters NO MATTER WHAT VERSION UR PS2 was!!!! Which I've been told was a Programming matter!

Draw your own conclusions?

(maybe it has something do to with your ps2 version, but as far I can sense its brought about by a direct result of poor/bad programming)

Possible Solution!

Hey

I was just checking out the different options & it seems that the stutter is to do the amount of crowd.

I put the crowd on both sides down to no crowd at all & there is no stutter at all!! I've tried countless times & it still works fine, only problem is it's a bit quiet (obv cos there's no crowd).

I am gonna mess around with the crowd abit & see if it stutters on more stars etc... but if people can try it & get back to me this maybe a solution.

Solution : -

1. Pre-Match, press R1 & select Home Team and Away Team & remove the stars down to none!

oh also.. i have the commentary in Spanish, well the language but the volume is all the way down/off, dont think its that tho.

I don't even notice the stutter inmyversion, never seen it once, try and get your game from Gameplay there are ace, i got my game on wednesday two dyas befor release

A word of advice. Don't open your PS2s and notin like that because it WON'T help. You just might fuck up your system in the process.

Any point of posting this shit? Whenever someone asks ^that's all you post. If your games don't stutter, disregard this thread. if you wanna post here, post something useful.

Hi... Bought PES3 this morning and played a few games before going to work. And yes, it did stutter like hell. Made me so angry that i sent an email to Konami-europe complaining. But guess what, I managed to fix it: commentaries off, Stadium effects off and neutral in Fan support. No stutter at all and smooth like a TV broadcast soccer game. Try it!!!!
