Stuttering/slowdowns on PC - anyone else?

So I have a few issues with 2014 atm relating to slowdown. Now before someone says "its your comp", its not. When playing the game its buttery smooth for the vast majority of the time (60 fps constant). However it will occasionally "slow down" and run at what feels like 15 fps (or less) for a few seconds and then go smooth again.

On top of this "Vertical Cam" is completely unplayable from slowdowns. All the other standard cameras are fine and the game runs smooth, but verticle cam just makes the game crawl along.

Now I know my comp itself is ancient, and kinda crap. But as I said the games buttery the vast majority of the time. If I could get rid of this random slowdown it would be perfect.

Anyone else have this with the PC version?

Turn vsync on, or force it in you graphis card config program.

Its not V-sync. That isnt an issue.

Specifications ?
Looks like ram or vram is not fast enough when game needs to pull some data from time to time, you might consider disabling commentary maybe to help things out.
The game itself is choppy to be honest(especially on cut scenes) and that's even on my i7 3770k,8gb ddr3 1600mhz ram and gtx680 graphic card.

Specs are kinda crap but well capable for the game itself.

Win7 64
AMD X2 2.7ghz
4gb DDR 800
HD 3870 512

Yep I know the graphics card has only 512mb gddr, though I am running on "low" settings which as I said is buttery smooth 90% of the time. Game settings panel reports "good" for first 3 catagories (including GPU core) but "bad" for Vram and shared Ram.

The game itself, Konami's specifications and the fact that I am actually playing the game perfectly well other than a random slowdown for approx 3 seconds.

CPU is not weak, it barely pegs 90% with the game on High or low regardless
Ram is not slow by a long shot the game doesnt even use 2gb of ram
GPU core is fine as the game is DX9 based, only the Vram is even an issue and again its withing specifications for the game.

I used to get this with the F1 games quite a lot, would run find 90% of the time and then all of a sudden it would go slow for a few seconds and then go back to normal.

I found out it was my graphic drivers in the end.

Yeah I cant update drivers, as I am on the "legacy set" from AMD. Currently running 14.4 legacy beta iirc.

Oh and DX is fully updated. As said above it does feel like its pulling data and slowing down, but there is no HDD access at the time so I rulled that out.
