Superstar or Top Player?

I currently play my ML in top player mode. I have had success, winning the league and ECL in my second season, however the amount of 'scripting' is really driving me crazy.

Now we have had the game for quite a while, does anyone have any views on whether Superstar is less scripted? I had heard lots of people say this when the game first came out. And is the game still winnable on superstar (obviously if you play well)?

Interested to hear peoples views now were into December. Will also be interesting to see if the new patch changes anything.

In Patch 1.02, superstar is now scripted a lot like top player. Before patch 1.02, superstar felt free and it wasn't rigged by the AI, but know KONAMI done the inevitable and turned it to a cheat fest. It's like top player but harder so I just turned it to professional. I'll probably change again after patch 1.03 and hopefully there'll be less scripting as KONAMI did say there will be minimal changes to gameplay

I haven't played anything apart from superstar in patch 1.02. It seems scripted as well, but as my team gets better it get's easier to intercept the ball so i don't notice it that much anymore.
