Hi guys.

Stupid question but I need help.
Whats the differance betwwen a sweeper and CB position?

Why I am asking is because I play 4 defenders at the back. If I move lucio a little he turns into swweper from CB and his overalll rating increases. Is it good to have a sweeper when u have another CB as well? (like cordoba next to him)

a sweeper always stays back and hardly ever gies forwards so he just stays there man-marking better as the last line of defence. he also sweeps or clears the ball

Yeah a sweeper plays deeper than a CB and sticks to densive duties clearing up (sweeping up) through and loose balls that come his way. Lucio in real life is a very attacking defender and not a sweeper.
