The fact that subs and reserves influence the team level is absurd in my opinion.

Too often i come across opponents that have 7 or 8 80 plus rated players in their starting 11 and have only 60-65 rated players as subs and no reserves. They only do this to get their team level below 3 so they have a good chance to play against opponents like myself that haven't gotten any players above 80 rated and get an advantage that way.

In order to level the playing field when searching for equal team level opponents, i would like to see that only the starting 11 determine the team level.

I totally agree on that. I've had many matches like that. Kind of sad.

But I don't know if a ranking based on the starting eleven would change anything about it. I mean what would prevent them from setting up a bad starting eleven before matchmaking and then exchange the whole team by much better subs and reserves before starting the match? Actually it might even make it worse.
