Did you miss the opening post where it says these are not the final squads?
I think another 2 weeks at least before we get the first 20 out mate. We are flat on it but even with all the data handy it is a time consuming tasks.
This looks absolutely amazing! So good that I can forgive Gazza being at Rangers! Can't wait to play with these teams.
You guys are legends for doing this.

Guys, I don't want to bring negativity into this thread but some of my team have been insulted. When they are insulted I am insulted and I'm sure insults will come my way as well. I almost 100% certain it hasn't came from here as many users on here are educated editors. They know the limits of the face editor for example. They know the effort that is needed to create this.
Like I said before we aren't going to satisfy everyone but negavtivity is de motivating to the cause and too much of it will bring an end too this quicker than it should be.
We can only try our best.
This is not a paid job nor do we gain anything from it. We do it because we love classic football, nothing else. If you aren't statisfied with our efforts. I have one piece of advice. Create your own.

Well said. People need to appreciate that this is being done for the love of the game not for money. Please dont stop making the OF. I for one cant wait to play it and am looking forward to the great work you guys have put in. You have spent your own time to create this and I thank you for it.
As for the critics, no one is forcing you to use this OF. If you dont like it then make your own and bugger off.

Thanks mate, I think one of the lads have it. No doubt we will have to reference it when we get to some of the smaller teams as a lot of stats are no longer available on the net and we will of course credit it
. Btw van basten and gullit are at AC. Weah is at PSG because of their short history. Just to give them strength.

I have to say i do like my classic players tbh and it does look vary good so far.
Just a few questions if i may.
1. Will you have duplicate teams such as the treble winning Manchester UTD team and then a XI team aswell or will it all be rolled into one?
2. Will the classic players be assigned to teams when they were at there peak and most powerful or will it be more of where they are most remembered? Take classic Ronaldo for example where he was really powerful in like PES 3/4 but obv got weaker due to injuries but was at RM.
3. If a full OF is planned will you also do kits for current teams such as the EPL and also put in the championship teams etc?
4. If an OF is planned will these be made from scratch and take up editing places or will some teams/players be over written?
5. Classic national teams or just clubs?
6. Will any classic players/well known players which were not apart of any major club be added to a makeshift club such as Matt Le Tissier for example.

A lot of questions, I will try my best.
1) No duplicates, so no two of the same teams either. Although we may use older players with real faces in some clubs. Mostly old players that are close to retirement but this will be kept to a minimum.
2) We will try our best to assign to the most appropriate club but as you would know, many opinions will differ. My advice is for people to make necessary transfers themselves if they wish differ than we chose.
3) We are doing this project with Pes Universe and they will disperse the content. Meaning we can 'piggy back' off their optionfile. We will sacrifice the bundesliga for our content although a few can be added to 'other European teams'.
4) The first 20 teams will be straight forward. We are using teams/players from the PEU league. Each team will slot in there. The 2nd and if 3rd and 4th will be a little more complicated but I'll address that closer to the time.
5) On this file it will only be classic clubs but when you play a master league you will notice national team selections will contain the best players of each nation. Naturally making an 'all star' national team.
6) These types of teams haven't been fully planned as of yet although it is completely possible. In the second update we will have a MLS all time team for example.
The main purpose of this file is for Master League use. IMO the structure we are using is the best way of doing it. I must warn though, once in a ML teams will from the start making transfers. This is unfortunate but if we were too use ERA teams they would become a lot more redundant quicker than All Star teams. Plus they are much harder to compile without duplicates.
When people start playing the ML they will discover the joy of no duplicates. Things like team of the month/tournament will not look silly by having two Ronaldos for example. They will look epic. Searching for players will seem more authentic for transfers etc. There will be draw backs though. Players won't have 'superstar' status etc because this is something specific to each player, meaning we can not change but in time as the ML progresses these things will happen.
