For my newcastle master league on PS2 iv signed Tevez but im not sure whether to play him up front alongside Owen or to rotate owen and Tevez and play them separtely.

Does anyone have any opinions?

depends on how you play.......... if you play a passing game play them both and get them to run onto through balls. or try playing 433 and have them feeding off knockdowns

I would play owen and tevez together you could do this

---------------------Gk-----------
Rb-----------Cb----------Cb-----Lb
--------------------Dmf or Cmf-----
------------Amf-----------Amf------
RWf----------------Cf----------LWf

so
Gk-Given
Dr-Carr
Dl-zonbia
Dc-Rozehnal
Dc-Taylor
Cmf-Smith
Amf-Emre
Amf-Geremi
Rwf-Martins
Cf-Owen
Lwf-Tevez

thats how i would play

OMG I did the exact same thing in my Newcastle master league and the answer is NO! You cant play the two wee men up front, they just dont function together. You could play Tevez as an SS and play him a good bit behind Owen but it never really seemed to work for me.

Just buy a bigger faster striker eg. Saha or Berbatov or Torres and play them up alongside Owen.

its definately a preference thing this. i play 4-4-2 anyway so i play one big n one small. means you can either hit a long ball or play to either players feet
