Any opinions on who the best player is on the game is. Any version (PES or WE) and any platform. Judged on either stats or general ability while playing with him

Adriano from my personal experiance for me he is the all round best player in the game.

Rooney is the total product. He has speed, vision, goal scoring ability, the ability to track back as he has the AMF position and a high defense rating. He also has youth which makes him a great master league addition. The complete PES player.
My favourite players throughout the Pro Evo series are the living legends Recoba and Del Piero.

I have three i enjoy playing with. I think each are the best in their position, ability wise.

Ronaldinho. The ball seems to stick to his feet and is good with almost every ability.

Adriano is also a pleasure to play with. He's got good balance and a mean left foot. Just strike the ball from any angle and he'll let loose a cannon of a shot.

C.Ronaldo is also a joy to play with due to his pace, dribbling, passing and respectable shooting skills.

I had him, Messi (updated stats) and Dinho in a front 3, with Joe Cole behind them.

I found a little dude on my Master League called Elton - he's going to become a legend. He doesn't start off as good as some of the more known players, but he seems to be developing at a much faster rate.

Of course you've got the obvious players like rooney who 8 years thru master league only has 5/6 stats not red! Youve also got j.cole, messi, obinna (updated) okaka(updated) but look out for the young players bos, hoffman, schwarz, palmieri and griffiths

I don't struggle with consistency with him but I do rotate players.
